Advert blacking out whole screen

I get this in every second thread I open this morning. It’s hiding all the posts on a page.

Using safari on iPad.

This was fixed for a few hours. Guess who's back...

Same here - safari on iPad, it takes up the whole screen and there’s no way to see the top post on a page. Thread about Smaska IKEA cups.

So sorry everyone, please do continue to bear with us and we will have this resolved ASAP.

This advert keeps blocking the start of new threads. I can scroll past but unable to read what it is covering.

This has been going on for 3 days now!
Couldn’t add my post to existing thread then couldn’t start a thread as screen was obscured.

Tried to add to a thread then screen was obscured, then tried to start my own thread on Friday p, then this again today.

Completely covering the Ops first post.
Scrolling does not make it go away.
Thought clicking on ad would make it go but no luck.

I came on Site Stuff to post about this exact same thing, so its still happening. Issanely aggressive advertising. Infuriating enough to make me close Mumsnet altogether!

Still an issue this morning (threads in AIBU for me)

What with this and the autoplay video ads, Mumsnet is doing a good job of putting off viewers ...

There’s also an ad every 3 posts (I counted) on some threads and some are auto play videos that don’t stop when you scroll up.

Sorry but it’s making the site a nightmare.

Not sure if this is part of the same issue or not, but this is on a PC using a Firefox browser. Happening on most threads I've clicked on and renders them unreadable.

This getting beyond a joke now. I’m SO fed up with it.

@MNHQ I completely understand that this site is funded by adverts, but this is ridiculous. I’m using Chrome on iPad. I’m done with MN if this isn’t sorted.

Getting a bit daft now.

Happened again this morning at 7.48. Was scrolling through Active, not on a particular thread. Using Microsoft Edge.

Happening again. It’s covering the post I’m trying to write so have had to abandon it. Very frustrating.

This is becoming incredibly annoying! It I scroll down, adverts cover the whole page. I can't reply to anything as it is covering the message box.

It's ridiculous that this is happening and mumsnet are doing nothing about it. There have been numerous complaints. It doesn't matter which browser anyone uses, this shouldn't be happening. Ad blocker here I come!
