Can't access site or app using WiFi

Hi

All of a sudden this morning I've been unable to access both the app and the site.

I thought the site was down but after several hours and nothing showing on social media I asked a friend to check and they confirmed they can access the site.

I've had to switch my WiFi off and use data in order to post this. I've tried repeatedly switching it off and on and every time I try to access the site using WiFi I can't get on.

For info my provider is Hyperoptic, please can you look into this?

I was having the same issue all evening but I seem to be getting on ok now.

Md too for the last few hours. Got on only once and again now. Just wouldnt load at all.

Been off (mostly) and on all day. WiFi or with data. I should have screen shot the sorry the site is down we're working on it message I got earlier.

Back for me now. I have not been able to log on via browser or app all day. I now know I am a mumsnet addict. I tried to log on a scary many times today

I posted above then lost mn again for a couple of hours. I've had to talk to people!

I’m in Ireland and the site was inaccessible all of yesterday. I don’t think it was a wifi issue though because everything else was working fine on my tablet on phone. Sad

I am repeatedly asked to login again. Each time I change topic I get the login screen. Nightmare. Don’t know if it’s the same issue as PPs.

Similar problem here, not exactly the same.

Yesterday I couldn’t get onto the site on my mobile outside of a wifi zone. At home, I can access the site, but when I click on ‘notifications’ it asks me to log in again. I try to log in and it just asks the same thing. And yet, I’m posting this message so I’m definitely logged in.

Usually I get a red circle showing that someone has posted on a thread I’m watching. That no longer appears.

I couldn’t get on until the evening yesterday…am also with virgin.

Kept getting a Mumsnet screen with an error message, the one with the big Mumsnet logo. Something about the server not been reached.

I’m still getting that screen occasionally today.

Pages are opening now ok, but still hanging forever if I try to post anything and often then I lose the page. Also with Virgin.

My access is still weird. I’m on my mobile, at home using wifi. No problem in general, but if I click on the person icon on the top right and then on ‘notifications’ it asks me to log in. I’m clearly logged in, but if I enter my password etc it just reloads the same log in request page. Still no red circle on the person icon which used to tell me I there were new posts in my watchlist.

Hi Trentgirl, the best way to fix that is to log out completely, then log in again - you can use this link to log out then log in again at the top of the page. After that, notifications should work. Apologies for the hassle.

I had issues over the weekend too - also use Virgin broadband. Fine today though.
