400 Bad Request

I'm getting this message constantly on Mumsnet over the last couple of days.

I can generally click from active onto the first page of a thread (but not always) but then clicking 'next' to get to page two is, the majority of the time, met with a blank white screen with the text.:
"400 Bad Request
Your browser made an invalid request"

This is only happening on Mumsnet.

I'm using the ecosia app on Android. Will clear cache and see if that helps.

As of yesterday, I can't open any threads without the 400 message. Mumsnet loads but cant access threads, had to use app to post this.

Interestingly it has resolved for me in the last few days and I can now see threads in Chrome again. Given that some people on this thread have just come back in the last few days saying "its back" that suggests to me that whatever has fixed the problem for my setup has simultaneously broken it for others!

But it's an intermittent problem.
I have had it since September on and off (which is when it was first brought to their attention). There are times when it happens a lot then times when it doesn't and then so on again and again

I also keep getting error messages only on munsnet, just keeps saying page timed-out.
Kept thinking it was my phone but thought it was ofd it was only this site!
Been happening on and off 2-3 weeks

It's ok at the minute but that doesn't really mean anything to me cos it's been happening on and off since September.
And it was last happening a few days ago
The screenshot is the same as on the last thread
Whenever it happens I can't access the thread so I haven't managed to put a screenshot up

@OhYouBadBadKitten last night there was a network failure at our data centre. (I think this means an internet hamster came off its wheel.) The engineers fixed it overnight and the site was back up around 3 am.

I had it last night, on a long thread, page wouldn't load and then timed out with the message, after a few attempts I gave up. Other sites were working fine. I didn't get a screen shot this time.

I use Chrome but nothing on earth will get me to use Firefox again. I also use Brave but wasn't using it last night and I just gave up and came back today so wasn't that bothered. If it happens again I will try Brave, if it will let me, it complains a bit about all the ads.

If you're using an Android mobile, then open Chrome, tap your menu key (3 lines on the bottom left), and tap the Chrome icon at the top of the app. A menu will appear. Tap "app info". Once the app info appears, tap "storage". On the bottom right hand side, there is 'clear cache.' Tap that.

I don't have 3 lines on the bottom
There's 3 lines on the top right but when I look in there there's no Chrome icon and none of the other things you mentioned
I don't use the app (is the way you're describing for if you use the app?)
