Annoying pop ups

I keep getting an annoying pop up which can't be closed and takes me away from the page I'm on when I 'close' it. Some dodgy, 'You have won' pop up.

I'm on the mobile site on my iPhone using Safari, iOS 12.1.2.

Can this please be sorted?

Popping back on another device to see if this is sorted yet.

Had a few hours without the pop ups and now they are back 😭

It was another French ad as the cause.

It’s some nouveau French ad that’s causing it. It’s happened three times in the last three taps for me.

Much worse than ever ! For me it is very closely linked to the pink ad french - could that ad simply be quarantined as it does
Seem to be infected !!

How and why are you letting infected ads onto the site, @MNHQ, that's shockingly piss poor, quite frankly.

It stopped all day and has now started back up with a vengeance. It took me over 30 attempts to post this, having to close the page each time and try again.

What IS it? I am getting worried that it will infect my phone or something.

I think it is that pink and magenta French ad.
