Annoying pop ups

I keep getting an annoying pop up which can't be closed and takes me away from the page I'm on when I 'close' it. Some dodgy, 'You have won' pop up.

I'm on the mobile site on my iPhone using Safari, iOS 12.1.2.

Can this please be sorted?

Same here, every thread I click on is going to the pop up.

@MNHQ what is happening, why, and when will it be fixed?

It had stopped but just started again here too. Also had the pink french advert on screen when it popped up. I’ve also had another pop up warning me about mumsnet deceiving me or something similar!

My screen is also zooming in by itself when on that advert

Yes after a good day (thought it was sorted) the purple french ads and the pop ups are back.

Ok after 8 attempts I’ve managed to sneak back. Happens whether the link/purple ad is in the top banner or bigger lower space on my screen. I think I know I can’t wngagemwith mn whenever I see that colour anywhere in the page. Trouble is the ad itself pops up unexpectedly. Please sort this out.

It’s been ok all day and now started again. Safari on iPad, same as yesterday.

I’m off for the night now - can’t be doing with this at all...

Have had it since Friday when using ipad but not on my android phone or windows laptop. Have followed advice for ipad about closing safari and clearing cache but no luck. Not having the same problem on other sites.
