Keep getting directed to dodgy sites

Hi, three times today I’ve clicked on a thread and it’s opened another window, to a dodgy site. The last one was a “100th person to click wins an iPad” type of thing. I’m on an iPad with iOS 11.2. Any ideas?

Actually this happened to me yesterday on the DM site too. The shame!

Sorry about that - they should stop again now. We're just running some tests our end.

I had to go on twitter to moan about this, couldn’t even use the site to complain

French add is back so are the problems! We can all see the link so why do you need run tests? Maybe some communication from @MNHQ would be helpful so we know what is happening and when the site is going to be unusable?

I’m getting it too. For the first time today, started about 5 minutes ago and it’s on all the threads.

I am getting the deceptive website warning that others have screen grabbed upthread. Happened again just now.

Mines a “virgin media” one. Going to leave MN for the moment.

Came into this thread to see what others were experiencing and have had a “congratulations you are a winner” type ad 4 times within 6 pages. Highly annoying and making the site unusable for me.

Mumsnet, how about an actual, proper update? Whatever you think you have done to fix it hasn’t worked.

I’m losing the plot with this!
