Time and time again this argument on Mumsnet about why you allow racist threads to stand for so long and take little action?

You assured us before that "lessons have been learnt" and all that rubbish but yet again here I am arguing with some other posters and your staff about whether a thread is racist??

I haven’t seen it BUT I fully agree that deleting the posts isn’t good enough. By the time it has happened, these posts will have been seen by thousands of people and will have been copied.
Because there are actually many people playing that sort of game :(

They normally delete those as referencing a deleted post.

Just report the posts that quote the offensive post. They sometimes miss them.

What infuriates me is that it's not taken seriously. We are expected to tolerate a certain amount of racism because @MNHQ doesn't deem it to be serious enough.

So tell me @MNHQ - how racist does one have to be to get a post/thread deleted?

Causal racism = ok
Microaggressions= absolutely no problem
Out and out KKK type ideology = hmm well let it stand for educational purposes? Hmm

And this is a bigger issue than just this one post.

To me it's the attitude @MNHQ take towards racist posts - allowing them to stand for hours after being reported.

This is not my first run in with @MNHQ over this issue and certainly won't be the last.

Each time there is an apology and "lessons learned " rubbish but it's simply not good enough.

I read some of the thread and it wasn't racist. Did it get racist towards the end? In what way? Was someone actually saying racist comments?
