I've just logged into someone else's account, using my own details?

I have no idea how this happened?

I logged in using my usual email address and password, went to TIO and realised I hadn't been on any of the threads in question and the account settings were completely different Confused

Then I realised it was someone else's account? Needless to say I logged straight out. I entered the same details again and now I'm back as me.

For the record, I'm not a name changer and have never heard of the person who I logged in as (see attached pic).

I've just logged into someone else's account, using my own details?

I just got logged out for no reason! That's never happened. I'm surprised i remembered the password. So.ething strange going on today!

I've just been logged out and had to log in again with email and password.

Is there going to be a forced password change at some point, or do we not need one?

I'm going to change it anyway mind.

I also got logged out just now, did need password to get in, on laptop, padlock and https in bar.

I was logged in, I went to post something, it said I was logged out. I wasn't, it then let me post.

I then looked at another thread and it said I was logged out, I had to log in again.

I am still me though. Grin

I have a padlock.

Just rtft and went to click onto something else and found I was logged out - needed to put in my email but the site remembered my password so didn't need to put that. Changing password now!

I have now been logged out. I can use the App, but can't log back in on the laptop on Google Chrome.

OK, I've been force logged out at last, but got back in via email on phone without password again.

I got logged out, it asked for an email and password to get back in, it told me my password was wrong and now I'm back in without reentering it.

You may need to change your passwords again once this is all resolved and do not change it to something you use elsewhere just incase.

I was also logged out on all devices. I needed email and password to get back in and that worked fine.

I’ve had to log back in. The site refused my password twice before allowing me on on the third attempt. (Even though I have my password saved to autolog)
I’ve no received an email.
Using Safari on my iPhone

I've now been succesfully force logged out. My password was needed to log back in as expected.

I am surprised logout has not been forced for every user across all platforms. That would be normal basic security practice.

This was a forced log out from our tech team but if anyone has trouble accessing their accounts, please do mail us for a password reset.
