Black areas on mobile

[AGHHHH]

Anyone else get this? If I'm browsing the site on my phone if I've come back to my browser from using another app the thread will be all fuzzy and have random black blocks all through it before I refresh.

Simple fix but still annoying. :s

I've had enough. I'm not using Mumsnet until it's fixed now.

Im still having this problem..on every single thread and its getting worse, thread unreadable now.

Thought I'd check back and it is the fucking M&S ads and still no update, how long does it take?!

Just got it again this morning... It's not just the m&s ads. :(

The site is unusable.

It's even happening on the Active Threads page now!

Still ongoing on my Sony phone.

I'm having this too, really annoying. Would make sense if it was the m&s advert as have been looking on the website the last couple of days sonpf course will follow me round the internet!

It's definitely the M&S advert. I chanced it an tapped on the black screen at the top and it took me to their website. There's no way to block it either, as it doesn't offer you the X that most advert do, it just locks up your screen!

Yup, getting this too. Samsung A5, Android, chrome. And not only when the m&s advert is up but that is definitely one of the culprits

It's taken four times to post this. Driving me mad this morning. Come on, mn!

On my iPad the page just won’t load and the screen freezes. It is better on my phone (think I’m using the app on phone)

Agree I’ve stopped browsing mum’s net over the weekend as just too infuriating.

I am typing my text into a text message then copy and paste it in.

This is very irritating

Definitely getting worse (for me). I get a few seconds, then have to refresh the page. Have to write posts in an external app then paste in.

Definitely the M&S ads.

@Mumsnet Can you at least please reduce the frequency of the M&S ads in the meantime? (To a maximum if it's personalised) Of course the best thing to do would be to switch them off for affected mobiles until they fix them.

It really does makes the site almost unusable.

Yep, definitely worse. Refreshing each page doesn't fix it anymore

I've just installed Opera. Slower than chrome but has ad-blocking built in.

Sorry @mumsnet Will allow ads again once you fix it.
