Anyone else get this? If I'm browsing the site on my phone if I've come back to my browser from using another app the thread will be all fuzzy and have random black blocks all through it before I refresh.

Simple fix but still annoying. :s

This is really bloody annoying. I can't be arsed to reload the page every 30 seconds, I'm just going to not bother with MN

TonicClonicAndTheWaves · 21/10/2018 14:11

The site is basically unusable now Sad

Winewinewinewine · 21/10/2018 14:52

I'm off now. Can't be bothered to keep refreshing. Its rubbish that this problem is being ignored. I'll use other sites until it's sorted. Im not on twitter but maybe a link to this thread on there will wake up mnhq.....If anyone can get past the blackness that is.....

SilverHairedCat · 21/10/2018 17:05

@TimMumsnet I've seen you respond on other Site Issues threads today, can you reply on here?

LindsayIt · 21/10/2018 17:14

Getting really fucked off with this.

It's every other time I click on a thread.

Also stops me responding to threads.

Dastidlt · 21/10/2018 17:52

I think Tim is one of the app developers (I may be wrong) so this might not be his area, but it’s ridiculous that an online company seems to have no developers on call outside of main office hours

BloodyDraculcasonthis · 21/10/2018 18:01

I'm.glad it's not just me..

Maybe it's a 'designed in' flaw?
It's a good way to make people reload pages and increase hit count..
But that's Tinfoil hat territory.. 😜

LindsayIt · 21/10/2018 18:29

Main office hours?

It was first reported 2 WEEKS AGO

AGHHHH · 21/10/2018 18:42

(If not more, because it had been happening for a week before I made the thread)

Yep it's still at it

Dermymc · 21/10/2018 19:40

It's breeding, used to affect only a couple of posts, now it's every thread I click!

Galvantula · 21/10/2018 19:54

It is totally the feckin M&S shoe ad. 😡

B00dyM4ry · 21/10/2018 19:57

I give you the M&S black box posts shuffled in all its glory. Come on Mn sort this out. It has been going on for weeks. It only happens when M&S is in the top banner. Their adverts are duds and have been messing up the mobile site for weeks.

Galvantula · 21/10/2018 20:11

Starts with a black box in the m&s advert then the black screen of Doom as you scroll.

Also having problems.

booksandwool · 21/10/2018 20:23

Yes, pretty unreadable for me too.

MistressDeeCee · 21/10/2018 20:30

I noticed it's the M&S advert causing it on my phone.

Annoying.

DappledThings · 21/10/2018 20:36

So fecking annoying. Have to refresh every single page to avoid this black box overlapping posts shite

AnxiousEffie · 21/10/2018 20:39

Perhaps if we all repeatedly 'report' posts on this thread it will get their attention.

SilverHairedCat · 21/10/2018 21:03

To be fair at the time on a Sunday I think it's just the Nightwatch, rather than @MNHQ

DaanSaaf · 21/10/2018 21:14

Same here, long threads are completely unreadable. It's very very annoying.

B00dyM4ry · 21/10/2018 21:21

This has been going on for weeks with the m&s advert though. Was so relieved when the ad went away a week or so back but it has come back on the top of practically every thread so there is no respite from it atm.

WarlocksAreLocks · 21/10/2018 21:39

Not even a long thread, a new one with only the OP. Samsung, chrome. Getting unusable now tbh

ginnybag · 21/10/2018 21:47

No ive got it too, Samsung A3 on chrome. Its driving me potty and making me avoid the site.

FormerlyFrikadela01 · 21/10/2018 21:51

Is it always the same advert? I never notice until it's all black but a second ago it happened and the ad before it happened was for collectif though it may have changed.
