Anyone else get this? If I'm browsing the site on my phone if I've come back to my browser from using another app the thread will be all fuzzy and have random black blocks all through it before I refresh.

Simple fix but still annoying. :s

They're baaaaack.

I feel like we should start a new thread about it though, or @MNHQ might not realise it's started again.

Catamaran1 · 11/02/2019 19:35

At least it hasn't been going on for long. Only since 7th October Wink

ReaganSomerset · 11/02/2019 21:28

Have you had it since then? Mine cleared up for a few months and has just reared its ugly head again.

AliciaMayEmory · 12/02/2019 18:17

I'm getting the black-out bits too. Happened last year gone for ages and just back this evening. I'm using an android phone and chrome browser.

Would also appear that 'preview' isn't working.

It's time to take your phone in for repairs, the screen is going... Well to be technical, your pixels.

Now sometimes when you change a page, the screen hasn't fully realised, and the pixels need to change. However, now you say it's it happens often and has now.gotten worse, I'd say your screen needs replacing.

IF less than 2 years old, and still under guarantee, I'd take it back, with receipt and request a new handset.

All mobiles in the UK from new come with a 2 year guarantee. CEX, unlike most second hand seller, gives a one year warranty.... Most usually only a few months.

Each little dot on a mobile phone is made up of 3 tiny LEDs and a combination of those LEDs shining in various combo.of the 3 colours, is what gives your.screen it's colour and pictures. A dark them is recommended, as the black LED uses less power, so the darker colours use less battery.... Also better for the screen life.

@macblank pretty sure it's a site issue. Last time it was the m and s advert causing it. Never had it on any other site. It got worse and worse October/November time, until I had to switch to the mumsnet app (which was fine, but I don't find it as user-friendly). Then it stopped for a couple of months and I went back to the mobile site. But it has now returned.

Can't speak for anyone else though.

AliciaMayEmory · 12/02/2019 18:44

It's definitely a site issue. Happened before a few months ago, and now happening again. Only this website too.

domton · 13/02/2019 09:57

Definitely a site issue, I never have it on any other site, never have done.

Same. It's too much of a coincidence that our screens would break at the same time, then get better for a couple of months then all go at the same time. It's only on mumsnet

AnyaMumsnet · 13/02/2019 13:55

Hi there all,

We're really sorry to hear this is back. We are looking into it again.

ReaganSomerset · 13/02/2019 16:39

Thanks @AnyaMumsnet. Please keep us posted.

ReaganSomerset · 14/02/2019 19:57

Guys, is it to do with the Carphone Warehouse ad not loading correctly?

ThreadKillerSleepsInACoil · 04/03/2019 22:51

Still a problem...

ThreadKillerSleepsInACoil · 28/03/2019 20:45

And still, although much less frequent and now it rapidly flashes black and white in the top advert box, while part of the thread displays fine and the rest disappears into a white block!
