Can we start a ‘medics corner’ to the list of topics?

Thought it would be useful to have this....think there is something similar for teachers on here

Potential topics could be employment issues, people looking for opinions/advice on junior doctor issues, bullying, flexible working, work/life balance as a medic and a parent ....the list is endless!

I'd definitely be interested in this board. I think there are lots of hcps on Mumsnet, certainly several pop up on any "aibu my GP is shit" threads, it would be nice to have a calmer place to talk together

I think admin and other none registered NHS folk should be included, I know I couldn’t do my job without their support. They are part of the team.

Fwiw, gmc have got involved for 'anonymous' posts on public fora. Prob safest in a moderated, credentials cjecked on joining group like mmm

Yes there are other forums and I am also part of both dnuk and pmguk on FB. However I rarely follow or post on there to be honest. In fact I don’t use FB much at all. Somehow I find MN more user friendly....and also like the anonymity
I know others may feel differently

Well I’m not a GP. I’m a Physio, so I’d like to just post on here where I name change almost daily. I like the forum, and the people on it, so I’d rather just post here.

I'm a ex-NHS HCA and currently work in residential care as a high level HCA, we have lots of issues too, but we often feel a bit forgotten. Would I qualify to join?
