What happened ,did it get deleted? No deletion message that I can see.

It IS heaven and the feta really makes the dish.

Dame I wish you would start a recipe thread. I saw you mention something a few weeks back and thought it sounded nice, now I can't find it.

scurryfunge · 08/09/2017 15:28

Am I allowed to ask what happened to the thread about the child's cut finger?

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 08/09/2017 15:29

Maud what was it,can you remember?I love cooking Blush

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 08/09/2017 15:29

Was it the flat breads Maud?

Maudlinmaud · 08/09/2017 15:31

No Dame I can't. But I remember thinking mmmmmm but didn't write it down pfft.
I've only just discovered feta, can you believe that. I had some in a salad by accident and now I'm hooked.

WhichJob · 08/09/2017 15:31

My DD would LOVE that meal. Everyone else in our house not so much.

Maudlinmaud · 08/09/2017 15:32

It was the flat breads.

WhichJob · 08/09/2017 15:32

So you crumble on feta and then serve? The OP of the other thread baked hers I think. I didn't RTFT though.

UrsulaPandress · 08/09/2017 15:34

I started reading that thread and thought yuk, I hate broad beans. Skipped to the end then had to retrace my steps as butter beans are my fave.

I am so making that this weekend.

Gindingaling · 08/09/2017 15:34

The thread was awful but the OP was a good laugh as was the meal she cooked. In most of her posts she gave as good as she got but with great humour and grace.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 08/09/2017 15:35

I crumble it on the top after wards.

That recipe looks lovely. How much farting results from it?

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 08/09/2017 15:37

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/_chat/3017526-Oh-dear-God-Ive-just-made-the-nearest-thing-to-heaven Maud

Quite a lot of farting it has to be said Blush

WhichJob · 08/09/2017 15:37

It also looks easy to cook, is it? I don't want to be lured in thinking it is a quick easy tea and it takes me ages. Smile

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 08/09/2017 15:37

Gindingaling she was a good eggSmile

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 08/09/2017 15:38

It's SUPER easy,I don't really do complicated food. I chop it and bung it in a pan.

WhichJob · 08/09/2017 15:39

I'm convinced, I'm going to do it for DD this weekends. Any other gems to share with us?

Maudlinmaud · 08/09/2017 15:40

Happy days. I've screen shot it. I will attempt it at the weekend. Although to be fair, cooking is not my forte. My home economics teacher told me I could burn water Hmm and I've never got over it.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 08/09/2017 15:40

Serve it with nice bread, big green salad and a bowl of tsatziki. Yum!!

OP posts:
DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 08/09/2017 15:41

Also,it IS really nice with sausages too Wink

It was a version of gigantes plaki (also called gigantes), with the feta added as an addition. There's various versions if you google for it. Quick versions will use tinned, and you can do on a stovetop (I have, prob not as good as oven).

It was one of the most frustrating (and rude) threads everrrrr. I mean damn, so you don't like broad beans. Even the kids managed to say 'I don't like it', not 'urgh disgusting vile I wouldn't eat that if you paid me'.
