How much trouble would Zombie be in if

IamtheZombie · 22/08/2016 22:06

she posted something like "Zombie would be pleased to answer your question / interact with you / get into a discussion with you AS SOON AS YOU CHANGE TO A PROPER NICKNAME" on all threads started by user1234567890 posters?

MNHQ's recent forced log in trial has unleashed another tsunami of "user"s as so many signed up to complain.

Zombie is now complaining about the renewed confusion created by "nicknames" that are virtually identical.

Humph.

Fast :o

mogloveseggs · 23/08/2016 08:24

Maybe we should suggest some usernames for them?

Fiderer · 23/08/2016 08:28

Enough things bloody confuse me these days. Don't need any more.

I got kicked out and had email/password problems and managed to get a new user name

LineyReborn · 23/08/2016 08:32

I had to Google 8008135. I am not 'with it' at all these days. I am covered in dust.

Fiderer · 23/08/2016 08:42

Liney Hot Builder? Wink

HerRoyalFattyness · 23/08/2016 08:44

I'm with zombie

PurplePidjin · 23/08/2016 08:45

You need a calculator

HoneyDragon · 23/08/2016 08:55

Why not just do what a gazillion other sites do and make you choose your user name signing up?

LineyReborn · 23/08/2016 08:58

Fiderer Grin He actual did use his angle grinder next to me last week.

Trills · 23/08/2016 08:59

What if we all posted saying

"Zombie would be pleased to answer your question / interact with you / get into a discussion with you AS SOON AS YOU CHANGE TO A PROPER NICKNAME"

EmpressKnowsWhereHerTowelIs · 23/08/2016 08:59

Trills Grin

therootoftheroot · 23/08/2016 09:01

i don't understand why zombie always talks about herslef in the third person

EmpressKnowsWhereHerTowelIs · 23/08/2016 09:04

I don't have a link right now, theroot, but Zombie has explained in detail before.

HerRoyalFattyness · 23/08/2016 09:08

There's an explanation I'm sure someone can link to. (I can't because I don't have the link and I'm too lazy to try and find it)

HexBramble · 23/08/2016 09:14

Very reasonable suggestion.
Some of these new posters have excellent thoughts and advice to share - a username gives them some depth and character - identity I s'pose.

Zombie is, as always, a gentle force of reason and woe betide anyone who says otherwise

RebeccaMumsnet · 23/08/2016 10:13

of course it's ok to give them a friendly nudge, we have no issue with that at all and would appreciate it. No one is gonna get into trouble for helping other out Grin

IamtheZombie · 23/08/2016 12:19

Thank you, Rebecca. Zombie promises to be nice.

therootoftheroot, Zombie's backstory is here

LOL that that link has a 'Zombie thread alert' at the top. I totally agree, all this user1038474738290101929 is a pain in the arse. I have met zombie briefly and she's very lovely.

at eyebrows

Fiderer · 23/08/2016 19:23

OliviaMNHQ with your current presidential aspirations you need more than eyebrows.

A golden comb-over pehaps.

Fiderer · 23/08/2016 19:23

*perhaps

EmpressKnowsWhereHerTowelIs · 23/08/2016 19:46

Only if you're not using them, of course. Olivia.

I think making the user1234233s pick a username after 10 views is a great idea.

HoneyDragon · 23/08/2016 21:03

It vexes her when you her you know?

MiddleClassProblem · 23/08/2016 21:16
