I have texture/smell phobias around a very small no of foods. I cannot help those. I would rather I didn't have them but I can't help it. I wish I could but I can't

Same here. Can't tolerate "soft" food like mashed potato. Makes me gag really badly. I don't even fully chew my food properly or I will be sick. If I end up over chewing I have to spit it out which usually puts me off my food. But it's better than throwing up what I've already eaten

if you don't agree with the deletion. ask mn hq.
im sure they will be happy to explain.
coming on here and having a go at someone who was upset by the post is a bit off imo

Did that once and never got a response. Still to this day I don't know what I said.

And go ficbia

It's actually making me well up a little bit. Apart from husband and he struggles sometimes, no one seems to understand what it's like to have problems with food

I think I've only ever been deleted for telling twats to fuck off but I've never had a pm or other notification, just noticed on my TIO.

Has this thread jumped the shark?

Samcro · 28/06/2016 15:57

we can't explain why mn hq delete a post/thread.
its not our job

OP posts:
Samcro · 28/06/2016 15:58

it seems to be taken over by people....maybe proving the point

Whilst it sounds like a good idea I doubt they have time?

They sound very busy most of the time without having to add why they deleted every post

I think RebbeccaMumsnet said they are working on a way to change the deletion message to explain deletions.

Would be a nice idea if they could. So people can understand exactly where they went wrong

Samcro · 28/06/2016 16:13

as for that beetroot thing.....who does that??
then moans, goady f
anyway back to the thread.......

OP posts:
Samcro · 28/06/2016 16:15

sorry but the idea of deleting a post cos its disablist then explaining the disablsm is off
cant see mn hq doing that.
they have done some good deletions lately and explained about the affect it has on disabled people and parents.
i think thats good

OP posts:
NeedACleverNN · 28/06/2016 16:18

It's certainly a good leap in the right direction

Jasonandyawegunorts · 28/06/2016 16:20

I think that's what was said anyway. I'm not 100% sure.

"post x has been deleted because they described an autistic child as just badly behaved and suggested they needed better discipline. This ignorant view is not allowed on MN"

you put that up (as in mn hq not you) and the irate haters will then carry on , but pretend they are discussing the deletion message.
