A number of us here have a love of pen porn and wanted to know if there was a grubby little corner you could stick us into??

And if MN wanted to create special personalised pens for us as well we will love you forever...

I'm iff work today with dd who is ill. I have spent the morning looking at the paper chase website and Cath kidston. Her pens are a really good weight for writing with.

I'm not a fan of plain ordinary stationery. The prettier the better.

My other secret love is buying cooking/baking equipment....... but we shall save that for another thread!!!

Duchess, I think you may be me! Baking / cake decorating (and sewing) are my other 'things' which seem to need rather a lot of equipment.

According to Amazon, my new fountain pen, ink and converter are on their way. I am quite excited.

My name is Floaty and I'm addicted to pretty notebooks, coloured pens and inks, sets of colouring pencils in every shade possible, proper illustrators black pens, artists paper, and funky erasers. I love faber and castell stuff. I also have a lovely set of bottled inks which I have no use for at the moment but had to have as they just looked so gorgeous.

Ooohhh Pigeon I have a sewing/knitting/cross stitch bag! And my bakeware so so pretty :) I love using pretty cupcake/muffin cases!

Again should totally be another thread!!

I cannot say hown happy I am my bank account is on empty because I am itching for a new notepad for my musings...... I muse a lot and I muse well.. I am amusing hahaha totally lame I know

I think we can all agree that our love of stationery is not for a NEED but totally because we WANT and they are soooo gorgeous!

I don't feel they're getting the recognition they deserve here yet.

Shall admit to buying birch box this month because it came in a pretty printed box by a stationery company.

Moo I love love love post its- the proper stuff. I have a drawerful yet still manage to aquire some from work

I like the little page marker ones and any other colour but yellow!

Oohh Woodley I have bought many items because the box was sooooo pretty and will last forever and ever

I had a look through my hidden drawer of delights at work (where I stash stuff dh really doesn't need to know about) I had forgotten my a4 clairefontaine writing pad. Why? I don't write letters. But my it's lovely and silky smooth.
My order arrived, I'm undecided about the ink. I think in a nice broad nib it would be better. The sailor pen is ok, fine but not scratchy.
Dd will be chuffed with her staple less stapler and then I ordered her a dymo. She's always wanted one.

We need this and quickly - I have a journal dilemma and nowhere to post it yet! (Loose leaf journal - need advice/ inspiration on making it beautiful with lots of lovely stationery bits whilst still useful and functional.)

Thanks to this and the pen thread, I am now the proud owner of a lovely new fountain pen and some matching ink. I'm very happy and DH thinks I've gone completely mad!

My new pen arrived today. Unfortunately, neither the ink nor the converter did, so I've got my beautiful new pen sitting on my desk unusable at the moment.

Hope the other two parcels arrive tomorrow and that I'm not in my meeting at the time because I don't suppose it would look very good to say to the Chairman of the new parish council I'm locumming for that he'd have to wait for a bit while I unpacked and filled my pen!
