Meh... Me and Olivia are on first name terms. I call her Olivia, she calls me Soupy... All is good. It's a done deal.

DH announced this morning that he needed to go to Tesco on his way to work to get "a load of stationery" I was so excited by this I almost did a little dance.

I offered to go and get it for him. He declined. He said "you won't get the right stuff". I beg your pigging pardon! The wrong stuff? I don't think so pal.

Crazy I suspect that DH was worried I would come back with pretty lever arch files, patterned notebooks and a pencil case. Given that he is a big burly chap who works in a prison he has to keep up appearances and has probably bought really boring stuff

Rest assured, I am doing my darndest, but sadly 'Flipping Democracy' reigns still here at MNHQ. Curse you, Democracy. So I will remain on tenterhooks with you until a decision is made.

In the meantime, can I just share the information that I have found a lovely little online place where you can customise your own notebooks? Oh yes. I may just have made myself a Mumsnet reports notebook for evenings such as this one. Have a look at Chroma Stationery.

Expanding - definitely know what you mean about decent quality, shiny, polypockets.

Last time I ordered them from the stationers I did have to ask for the better quality ones as those others aren't fit for purpose! These new ones make my meeting files all beautiful, they don't tear after two uses and they take the labels better (don't get me started on labelling though as that's another obsession!)
