A number of us here have a love of pen porn and wanted to know if there was a grubby little corner you could stick us into??

And if MN wanted to create special personalised pens for us as well we will love you forever...

New entry to DH's collection. He's been praising it for quality, performance and price so I thought I'd show it to the Pensexuals!

I'm not a fan of Lamy pens, I dislike the clunky look. I have a Rotring Art Pen with an extra fine nib. I like the ribbed grip and the tapering elegant barrel. It's a shame it is a functional black plastic though.

Today I went to The Works and Paperchase and have a nice little haul of notecards, journals, sticky notes, notebooks and coordinating washi tapes. That was being really restrained. Really regretting one thing I put back on the shelves.

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeG0es · 29/05/2016 22:45

I've got a Lamy and love it, so smooth and I like the feel of it in my hand too.

MyUsernameDoesntHaveNumbers · 04/06/2016 10:34

I have just taken delivery of my latest cult pens haul, which includes .....
Lihit lab twist ring notebook, fantastic for keeping notes organised and lovey to write on with a fountain pen.
J.herbin ink cartridges in Gris Nuage and Vert Empire. The grey is soooooooooooo light I really wouldn't recommend at all, very disappointed with it. The green is a sort of grey-green and is nice but the hunt for a gorgeous everyday ink continues!!!!
Platinum plainer fountain pen in green , this is lovely and very cheap so perfect for the office. Smile
Does anyone know of a good dark grey ink?

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 04/06/2016 10:39

The Parker repair people could fix my Rialto Sad I might try gluing it, but I'm going to get a new everyday pen (I suppose that's the one good thing!).

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 04/06/2016 10:40

*couldn't fix...

CrazyDuchess · 04/06/2016 10:41

Will do, off to take DC to gymnastics.
Will be back soon.

MyUsernameDoesntHaveNumbers · 04/06/2016 12:48

Pictures attached of the ink colours and new everyday pen.
Pen is nice for the money and has a fine nib and metal body and is a gorgeous green colour.

I brought a pack of Swanneck left handed pens on amazon, as i was recommended by a friend to see if it helps my son with his handwriting, I was impressed with the results.

Nice addition to my sons pencil case.

Hello can I join in? I have finally managed to RTFT! 21 pages, come on MNHQ!

Someone asked earlier about arc notebooks from Staples (sorry I couldn't remember your name!). I have one and I love it. I have the red leather cover, and may have accidentally spent £50 on extra bits for it (to do lists, dividers, spare paper, plastic wallets). I also got the hole punch so I can add in my own printed documents.

I also love Papermate biros, Sharpies and highlighters. Or any stationery, to be honest!

CrazyDuchess · 06/06/2016 17:39

All are welcome - no dramas here Grin

Hi all. I've got a lovely new fountain pen coming for my birthday and I'm looking for ink recommendations.

I've already got the cult pens deep dark orange in my orange lamy pen and I love it. Not sure what else to go for - tried a teal colour (schubert) and the grey glittery inks - both diamine - but didn't love them. I'm considering deep dark purple - purple and orange are my two favourite colours. Or would I be better with something more simple? Anyone of you stationery lovers have anything you love that you want to recommend?

MyUsernameDoesntHaveNumbers · 07/06/2016 16:52

I have the deep dark purple!! Will post pictures

MyUsernameDoesntHaveNumbers · 07/06/2016 17:08

Didn't think that I liked it but I think that I do now!
The blue-black is very dark though.

I need to buy this don't I? It's so simple but so lurrrverly...

www.cultpens.com/i/q/EM26354/em-potbelly-pen-pot

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 08/06/2016 09:18

That is nice, it just looks so smooth.

underrugsswept · 08/06/2016 09:20

Also - my old Parker pen is not getting on well with my diamine ink. The sparkly bits seem to clog up the nib. I'm thinking of investing in a Lamy Safari instead; what nib size should I go for? I don't want to suffer scratchy-pen-patchy-writing-syndrome again, it makes me sad!

underrugsswept · 08/06/2016 09:21

That's exactly what I was thinking, Polka. I think I just want to sit and stroke it lovingly.

CrazyDuchess · 08/06/2016 10:35

Yes Yes Under - I grant you permission to buy... nay I INSIST you buy and make your pens very happy!

Sorry I cant help re. pens and inks.... someone more knowledgeable will be along soon!!
