A number of us here have a love of pen porn and wanted to know if there was a grubby little corner you could stick us into??

And if MN wanted to create special personalised pens for us as well we will love you forever...

I've had a few OMG-want-it-want-it-want-it reaction to a couple of recent posts - those Caran d'Ache pencils in the wooden box (stationery phwooooar!) and the post-it bookmarks (mmmmm, tasty). I can see I'm going to have to hide this thread.

Or better still, MN could do my bank account a favour and hive all this stuff off in a Stationery Cupboard that I can hide (not really).

Jem, the ink is lovely. It's somewhere between dark grey/black with a hint of purple .. Beautiful.

I love writing with the Lamy Safari and the ink. I'm desperately trying to find things to write!

My next purchase will probably be Diamine ink with the shimmer .. Probably shimmering seas (?)

I just bought the Brandy Dazzle - brown and gold. It's ridiculously beautiful in the bottle, like a magic potion. Makes me want to have them all just to look at! Can't tell you what it's like on paper because I've just filled my pen with Diamine Vivaldi which is lovely, I want a dress this colour.

I have four fountain pens at work (all 1960s Parker Lady duofolds), violet, turquoise and blue-black ink (Sheaffer, Parker and Waterman) and at least six pens and two more bottles of ink at home.

I loathe the fact that recycled paper, which makes up all the notebooks we have for work, is like blotting paper and ghastly for writing on with proper ink. At least if I want to use more than one side of the paper...

I've even still got my old cartridge pens from when I was at school, apart from my lovely old Conway Stewart which vanished. Anyone else remember the cartridges with ball-bearings in?

I keep meaning to buy some red ink, just because.

Hi all - we've been browsing the Paperchase website discussing things at HQ and as we're currently in the process of rejigging all the topics, we're not looking at introducing any new ones at the mo. However, it's certainly something we'll look at again in future, once that is done and dusted.

Do keep the thread going though because it's bloomin' brilliant

Surely it makes the most sense to add in any new topics at the same time as hte general rejigging!!

I'm just worried questions are getting lost here I'm sure someone upthread asked about nice writing paper and I don't know if there were any replies ... I've been looking though: I want nice laid or wove paper, and tissue paper-lined envelopes, oh, and someone to write to! Would it be OTT if I sent notes to school about being excused from PE using any of these correspondence cards?

(It's a bit ridiculous that this entire conversation is happening in Site Stuff. But whilst we're here, can I be on topic and ask that in the rejiggery, we might get the option for having a collection of favourite forums, to easily keep up with the essentials? I will send a beautiful thank you card.)

Seems odd that there's some really random topics (Sporners ffs) but not something that could be of help to people looking for stionery advice etc

I suspect the sporner one was accommodated to protect hapless posters & newbies from wandering in & having a fright.

Deeply disappointing - agree with the other posters here!! Especially when we have identified empty part of the sites rarely used.

Also agree that 1 thread in site stuff is insufficient for our pensexuals needs.

We NEED a stationery cupboard. And when we get one then MNHQ are not allowed in it. That'll learn ya!

Maybe they're worried that we'll get all over excited and start fumbling around with each other in the dark whilst muttering dirty words like 'medium sized nib' and 'free flowing ink'.
