Mumsnet is soon to be 15 (!) - wanna come celebrate with us?

Believe it or not we're soon to be fifteen years of age and we're going to have a bit of a pardee to celebrate. We'd like to invite 15 Mumsnetters to come and celebrate with us.

The event is in central London (near Brick Lane) on Wednesday the 11 March from 6.30 to 9pm, so if you are in the area and would like to stop by, meet some of the team and some other special guests, please post below and we will pick 15 lucky winners out of the hat on Friday the 27 February.

And now for the small print:
Please make sure you are free on the 11th and able to get yourself to central London before posting and you also need to be happy to have you photograph taken and used on the site.

Here are the highlights from our Tenth birthday party

Am I too late?

Tropicalchancer · 19/02/2015 15:19

Love to come anyway lol

IAmAPaleontologist · 19/02/2015 15:54

Surely this is the sort of thing you should be using to boost your slightly dead to be honest local side by getting local editors to organise a party in their area.

I'm just a baby in MN year, been here around 8 and a half years. I'm not even sure we had internet at home when you launched!

wannabestressfree · 19/02/2015 15:56

Pretty please :)

FruChristerOla · 19/02/2015 16:53

"Am I too late?"

No, Tropicalchancer, MNHQ will be picking names out of the hat on 27th February.

Toomanyworriedsonhere · 19/02/2015 18:33

ooh can I come?
please

StrumpersPlunkett · 19/02/2015 18:43

Can't come but wanted to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY
have been here since 2003/4 (can't quite remember)

There are times you have saved my sanity, saved my children from me, and saved me money on bonus christmas pressies. What more could I want from a website?
Thanks

Very good thought - we could have 15th party's up and down the country couldn't we...

Re presents, possibly not. But I can promise you very naice cocktails & canapes and quite possibly Bojo (Sorry for all you Katie H fans, she didn't quite make the cut Wink).

chockbic · 19/02/2015 21:38

Nope. Apparently he luffs all you vipers but I don't get let off, even for this.

AllYourBase · 20/02/2015 00:24

BoJo? He really wants to get elected, doesn't he?

If BIWI is going, I want to!

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 20/02/2015 06:32

It's my birthday.
It's Mumsnet's birthday too.
I wish it was my fifteenth.

TheSkiingGardener · 20/02/2015 06:50

I can't make I but love the idea of Mumsnet Local parties. Or maybe just a secret sign in each area so you can doff your cap to fellow MNers in quiet celebration.

teddygirlonce · 20/02/2015 11:28

Not been a regular Mumsnetter for nearly as long as I should have been. DH suggested I join up about 7/8 years ago but I didn't 'til my DCs were beyond baby/preschooler age Blush. Possibly coinciding with having more time to spend online Wink.

Happy 15th Birthday and fingers crossed for an invite Smile.

Wincher · 20/02/2015 11:48

Ooh yes please. I can duck out of bedtime just for once...

MyOneandYoni · 20/02/2015 12:07

Will there be unicorns? Or even a kindle..?

lynniep · 20/02/2015 16:50

JustineMumsnet · 20/02/2015 19:28

Turns out we launched beta site on March 12th, so bang on nearly. Before that we had a holding page up from some time in Jan, but it didn't do much other than say watch this space.

Still time to throw your name in the hat...
