Believe it or not we're soon to be fifteen years of age and we're going to have a bit of a pardee to celebrate. We'd like to invite 15 Mumsnetters to come and celebrate with us.

The event is in central London (near Brick Lane) on Wednesday the 11 March from 6.30 to 9pm, so if you are in the area and would like to stop by, meet some of the team and some other special guests, please post below and we will pick 15 lucky winners out of the hat on Friday the 27 February.

And now for the small print:
Please make sure you are free on the 11th and able to get yourself to central London before posting and you also need to be happy to have you photograph taken and used on the site.

Here are the highlights from our Tenth birthday party

I love this one from 2010:

It takes a village
to raise a child and Mumsnet
to raise a mother. Bumperlicious

Yes, Ood sorry. MNHQ you really should change the OP to say "special GUEST."

Ooooh, yes please to going in the hat. Cheers!

Wiifitmama · 17/02/2015 19:35

Yes please! I don't remember when I joined exactly (and it was with a different name) but it was certainly when I was pregnant with ds1 and he will be 14 soon so it must have been very near the start of the site! Three children now (and no more!!) and still here so it must be good Grin

TengoSueno · 17/02/2015 19:39

I would love to come. Pretty please!

GilbertBlytheWouldGetIt · 17/02/2015 19:42

Please count me in. I'm as dull as a sponge and photogenic as a used sponge. Love you!

Ragwort · 17/02/2015 19:47

Wifi - me too Grin - I was 'recommended' to Mumsnet all those years ago, and my teenage DS will also shortly be 14. I never mention Mumsnet to the person who recommended it to me and I have no idea if she actually uses it or not - but I have been addicted for nearly all that time Blush.

Do you remember when we were all asked for donations to keep Mumsnet going Grin?

JuniperTisane · 17/02/2015 19:57

SagaNorensLeatherTrousers

What they haven't told you is the really, really small print, which is that there will be 15 of you for a reason. Each of you will represent 1 year that Mumsnet has been "live" and will act out that year's highs and lows in interpretive dance.

Pick me! Pick me!

mugglelady · 17/02/2015 20:15

I'd love to come!

elQuintoConyo · 17/02/2015 20:28

Yeah, i'm free, just got to ask DH Johnny Depp if the private jet is free that day.

If you don't invite me, don't expect me to come help you decorate, for free!

AllYourBase · 17/02/2015 20:36

Midlanders and (at least 1) northerners went to the 10th party!
In fact, I think most that went had to travel for the event.

I am guessing that Gordon and Sarah Brown and Ed Miliband won't be at this one?

WireCat · 17/02/2015 20:47

Is Matthew Wright the host for the night?

giraffesNeedBigPoloNecks · 17/02/2015 20:52

Are you sure it is 15? Seemed like only a few months ago it was 10!

ouryve · 17/02/2015 21:12

I would buy a first class rail ticket all the way down from up here if I could be guaranteed the opportunity to glare at Katie Hopkins in person.

BIWI · 17/02/2015 21:14

Oh no Sad

I shall be in Moscow then for work.

You knew that, didn't you?

wannabestressfree · 17/02/2015 22:05

Ooooooh yes please :)

wannabestressfree · 17/02/2015 22:09

In fact if I say that every hour on the hour until you pick can I come? :)

KeemaNaanAndCurryOn · 17/02/2015 22:37

Put me in the hat. I'm remarkably free at the moment and am willing to bribe if necessary.

roisin · 17/02/2015 22:38

I don't want to come to the party, but just checking: is 11 March 2000 your founding day? I thought it was slightly earlier.

According to my profile, I joined in July 2000. I know ds2 was a baby at the time: he now towers over me and is sitting his GCSEs this summer!

AllYourBase · 17/02/2015 22:44

and will JohnnyB be all lechy this time?
will anyone be wandering around, advising the great and good to 'think fish'?

Roseformeplease · 17/02/2015 23:01

What about the McMumsnetters? Any chance of a party for those of us who can't make it? Sorry. As if Britain wasn't Londoncentric enough, there is a mid week opportunity that is clearly aimed at those who either don't work or work within an hour of Central London.

Justine - you can do better than that. How about picking 15 applicants and then one of the 15 gets to choose a venue and the others get travel / hotel / gin money?

muminthecity · 17/02/2015 23:16

Ooh I'd be well up for a mumsnet party! Add my name to the list please!

IDismyname · 17/02/2015 23:23

Oh, me please...! I'm up for a pardeeee.

(Goes off to find pink wig to re-enact the naice ham Pom bear penis beaker yoni massage dance).

Wiggle. Wiggle... Wiggle.

NormaStanleyFletcher · 17/02/2015 23:31

I can make it if you want a short fat woman Who can help with the gin.

(Im really selling that aren't i)
