Believe it or not we're soon to be fifteen years of age and we're going to have a bit of a pardee to celebrate. We'd like to invite 15 Mumsnetters to come and celebrate with us.

The event is in central London (near Brick Lane) on Wednesday the 11 March from 6.30 to 9pm, so if you are in the area and would like to stop by, meet some of the team and some other special guests, please post below and we will pick 15 lucky winners out of the hat on Friday the 27 February.

And now for the small print:
Please make sure you are free on the 11th and able to get yourself to central London before posting and you also need to be happy to have you photograph taken and used on the site.

Here are the highlights from our Tenth birthday party

Oh. I appear to be on holiday so I have been reminded Blush so take me out of the hat please.

wannabestressfree · 20/02/2015 23:50

Pretty please :)

Alibubbles · 21/02/2015 06:02

I can't remember when I joined but my reg number is 651! Dd is now nearly 29!

My 2 were teens, not littles, but under many name changes, ( this, I think was my first name for a longtime) I found and have hopefully given some good advice, judging by the number of private messages I still get, it must be so.

Oodbrain · 21/02/2015 07:20

I remember you as Alibubbles!!

I lurked for at least a year on/off as I didn't have the internet so only went on at my parents. Then when I got it at home I joined but still lurked more than posted.
Used to be able to read all of the last 24 hours in one sitting Grin

Oh, and why don't you want to come to the pardee Roisin."

Ha! Just not really a party, small-talk person really. Busy too with work plus whip-cracking with aforementioned GCSE revision.

Hope you have a fab party.

BellsaRinging · 21/02/2015 11:43

I would love to come. Pretty please?

KeemaNaanAndCurryOn · 21/02/2015 14:25

Bojo? Is that a JLO tribute act?

Grin
TiggyD · 21/02/2015 16:55

Oooh! Not me thanks! Sounds dreadful and a long way away. I'd rather do just about anything else. Please don't make me go.

Alibubbles · 21/02/2015 17:48

oodbrain I have lurked for years now and had a few name changes but came back to my original name for this thread. Who were you then? I don't seem to have as much time now as I did then and posts move on so quickly and many of the old names are not around anymore though I saw that slug has posted above, I remember her well.

Eve · 21/02/2015 17:52

Ds is 15 and remember my 1st post was about why he wouldn't sleep!

... Back in the days when active conversations had 25 messages in them!

clam · 21/02/2015 18:00

Ooh! Me, me, me, please!

I've even kept the same username forever.

Oodbrain · 21/02/2015 19:05

ali lots of short term names. Lots of dr who and harry potter related ones. Initially I was nikkie Blush

prettybird · 21/02/2015 21:20

I've been on here since May 2001 Shock. Ds wasn't even a year old. Cam on here initially for breast feeding support from Babycentre.co.uk and stayed Grin

I've only name changed once after a couple of years except for Christmas/special occasion temporary changes - I was Jan Z1961

Can't come to the 15th celebrations Hmm - too far and too short notice to be able to book cheap tickets from Scotland's Sad

AlphaBravoHenryFoxtons · 21/02/2015 21:36

MNHQ By showing those photographs of the mumsnetters and attributing the winning haikus to the mumsnetters' names, you have in fact outed them.

AlphaBravoHenryFoxtons · 21/02/2015 21:40

Happy 15th birthday.

321zerobaby · 22/02/2015 10:00

I would like my name in the hat please! Sounds like fun, I am close to London, what's not to like! I have had several user names, been here since dd was a baby I think, so about 10 years.

BoffinMum · 22/02/2015 10:26

Just because you are 15 does not mean you can go and get your nose pierced, even if all the other forums have pierced noses. That is my final word.

smallinthesmoke · 22/02/2015 21:58

Ooh yes please, I'd love to throw my hat in the ring for this one. I can sing happy birthday very tunefully and am expert at snarfing canapés. DH has even very wearily promised to pick up the DC that evening if I did get lucky. Though he doesn't think any of you exist in RL, obviously.

crispycookie · 22/02/2015 22:04

I'll love to com end DCs are with their dad on Wednesdays! One more reason to be glad for the breakup? Wink

Datahub · 22/02/2015 22:06

oi Justine - will you NAME us on the site?

Datahub · 22/02/2015 22:08

I will come.

i STILL cringe at me and Gordon B at the last one

whimpers

iwouldgoouttonight · 22/02/2015 22:13

Ooh its fate, I'm working in London on 11/12 March and have to stay overnight. I was planning on eating out alone and then sitting in my tiny hotel room watching diy sos, but now I shall be at a partay!

If I get picked. ...

BeattieBow · 22/02/2015 22:15

I'd love to come too! I've been here since 2003 in various forms - I think I was here in 2002 looking at skiing holidays and joined in 2003 when my newborn dd had reflux. She celebrated her 12th birthday this week.

BIWI · 22/02/2015 22:16

Think 'fish'
Grin

Blondieminx · 22/02/2015 22:45

Oooooh! I work just round the corner from there!

Mumsnet has held my hand through so much, I would love to help you celebrate!
