Some of the responses to posts are hilarious and I just want to show that person that I agree!

Come on mumsnet team it's a no brainer! Smile

Add the word 'agree' if you'd like to see that! (See if there was a like button it would be soooo much easier...)

This place is overrun with enough txtspk, hunning, kissing, loling fuckwits as it is these days. *

Like button is a step too far.

*that's me being aggressive in a lighthearted way.

Eurgh, no thanks.

I can only see it adding fuel to the whole 'MN Royalty' bullshit that already goes on.

I'd really love a 'Cunt' button though...

shuts down Photoshop, sits on hands to avoid temptation

I'm a no. Who cares what arcane devices Faceache and other inventions of the devil use? This is Mumsnet. We debate. We do not ninja tick.

Btw I hope MNHQ have the diligence to count up how many posters are for/against rather than how many posts, as some people are cheating by saying the same thing over and over.)

schoolsgettingonmynerves · 18/06/2014 21:26

Seems like it's a no then.

Shame. There are so many of you that make me smile on a regular basis with your funny, deep, sometimes quite emotional comments that I wanted to show my appreciation. I can't be bolloxed to write 'hahaha good one xxx' as usually the moment has passed anyway.

Actually I think the biscuit does get used as a "cunt" button on occasion. In fact, if you squint at it it almost... er, sorry.

Although I agree too many emoticons is A Bad Thing in general (despite a sneaking fondness for Bear), I am still convinced there is a need for an evil smiley.

schoolsgettingonmynerves · 18/06/2014 21:29

I'm all for the 'cunt' button.

You shouldn't be writing anything that ends in 'xxx' on here anyway! Tis not the done thing.

Please implement my 'cunt' button immediately Rebecca.

Ah go on, go on, go on, go on, go on...

Anniegetyourgun · 18/06/2014 21:30

To be fair, at least she said "hahaha" rather than "lol".

Whiskwarrior · 18/06/2014 21:31

The 'cunt' button would be fantastic for those times when I get all caught up in some racist twattery and end up repeating myself over and over, telling someone that they are behaving like a cunt. I would much rather keep hitting that button. It would really get the message across.

How about a 'RAGING GREAT TROLL' button?

RebeccaMumsnet · 18/06/2014 21:36

I'm afraid calling someone a cunt, as a personal attack rather than affectionately Wink Confused would be against the guidelines and zapped, so creating a button to do it would be:

@Maryz

Rebecca, is this what you were looking for?

ROAR!

ExitPursuedByABear · 18/06/2014 21:38

Ooh Maryz

You are excelling yourself.

Whiskwarrior · 18/06/2014 21:39

I got rather excited for a second then and thought Rebecca had actually come up with my 'cunt' button.

But Maryz's thing could work just as well!

I could actually get behind this button-based initiative...
