Clicking on link above I get taken to the first post. I'm on Windows. Happily though my 'TIO' list seems to take me to last posts again.

That takes me to the start of the thread.

Mac OSX 10.7.5, Firefox, desktop site.

Although when I came back to this thread by clicking the most recent poster's name on Threads I'm On it brought me to the most recent post. Happy days!

I don't think so Mckayz - I haven't posted on that thread but it's still taking me to most recent post (lightbulb: do you have threads set to display most recent post first?)

Just make an option under 500 posts for 1000 posts.

That change should only take a few minutes to do since it doesn't change the structure.

FunnyFestive Go to customize and just go down the page. You'll see all the settings.

OK settings:

Right down the bottom of the page - just above the 'Shortcuts' menu - menu running across the page beginning with the word 'Talk' - hit 'Customise'

Scroll down to 'Other options'

You can change 'Reading direction', 'Messages per page' (up to 500, cough cough) and - if you're not on Classic - 'Display bookmark links'

whilst we're here can i ask again why on the android app, can it not out 'thread's i'm watching' in date order.

I've asked/grumbled a couple of threads, but haven't seen an answer.
Threads I'm on works fine on android though. Yet watching, well i get threads come up at the top from months ago.

I don't really bother with the app because if it.thanks

the major remaining issue is: wanting to see the most recent posts but not be permanently set to 'most recent post first' - yes?

Or are there other things?

We have a plan for making all the apps massively better but it's a slow process. For now, you're really better off using the mobile site.

O'm having issues clicking on any thread longer than one page, from Active convos.

It takes me straight to the end of the thread, however many pages that is - not a lot of help if I am trying to read a thread from the beginning!

I'm on a Mac, OSX 10.6.8, Safari, Desktop site.

That does rather seem to be the consensus

And if everyone absolutely continues to hate it then we will of course have another think

BUT

please remember that we did this to improve loading times not just for people on long threads but for absolutely everyone

So we're taking away but we're also givething

Albeit in a manner that has thoroughly annoyed absolutely everyone
