Yes, the whole of the other thread is being ripped to pieces because we are all misoginists.

Basically the posts of LaQ's where she made up the stories about the imaginary POs have all been taken completely out of context and quoted in one massive post and reported as being completely serious and sneering.

It's horrible.

I have come from that other thread to find out what a PO is. I think some of the quotes are funny in a type of "if the cap fits way"

What I don't get is there are umpteen self proclaimed quiche threads - the IPOAT, the twisluts, various relationship support threads that are long running. No one has a word to say about them (quite rightly). I think any thread that seems to consist of hully and others being flippant is a red rag to a bull.

more no it's wasn't one single post, it was over several posts where a few of us were making up imaginary back stories to the people you meet who appear to have no sense of humour and sap the fun out of everything.

I think I made up some shit about always getting the same bus into town and things like that. Just shits and giggles. No malice.

That other thread has made me equal parts sad and angry tbh chub.

It just shows how easy it is to take something out of context and twist it into something it never was.

I do agree that there should be threads for people to have a laugh and not to be taken seriously. I often lurk on these coz they're bloody funny and good.

I very rarely agree with anything she says BTW, but she just does it with such panache she makes me smile.
