I have reported it 3 times today, 1 before 9am.
Heard nothing from them.

OP posts:
WorraLiberty · 13/11/2012 23:03

seeker! Grin Grin

I'm sure someone will be along to take offence at some point....

MotherfuckingMorrisMan · 13/11/2012 23:10

Fucking Spanish bastards eating spanish food in fucking spain

ExitPursuedByABrrrrrrr · 13/11/2012 23:22

How, how, how have I missed all this?

MN at its maddest.

And for what it is worth, I say mad as a bag of frogs, not box. Would be more jumpy don't you think?

MrsWembley · 13/11/2012 23:54

I, too, am late to the party.Sad

I had never heard of the phrase until I met DP. He uses it frequently and, though slightly panphobic, has never used it in the context the OP is suggesting.

And can someone PM me next time a bunfight is going on?

Crikeyblimey · 14/11/2012 00:18

Chickens eat worms and slugs and things (oh and frogs and mice if they get a chance). And they are very brave (not really but it suits my point) so no calling scared people "chicken" or I'll report chickinistic tendencies.

I love this thread.

WrathdePan · 14/11/2012 00:25

"slightly panphobic.." there's a new twist.

SantasStrapOn · 14/11/2012 00:38

WTAF is panphobic?

EmpressOfTheSevenOceans · 14/11/2012 02:17

Either scared of everything or scared of cooking.

I think it's scared of everything.

MrsWembley · 14/11/2012 03:14

Oh, Grin

Yes it means scared of everything and as my DP is a perfectly lovely bloke who is ever so slightly inward looking and is a little Confused about anything that doesn't fit into his perfectly normal life, I feel it fits him.

If I ever thought he was using that phrase to be xenophobic I'd call him on it. He's not, so I don't.

piprabbit · 14/11/2012 03:39

I've seen people asking MNHQ for a 'hide poster' button so they can hide everything posted by an individual.

I don't want that, but I would like to be able to add my own (private) comments to posters' names - so that when I wave my cursor over amillion's name a little box saying 'frogs' would appear.

It would help me to remember which posters to take seriously.

MrsWembley · 14/11/2012 03:48

Oh, it wouldn't have to be private...

Wink
Joiyuk · 14/11/2012 04:00

Can I just ask, did the woman making the original post in the other thread (does that even make sense?!) actually get offended to the frog comment? Looking at the other thread though, she posted just to say mumsnet was crap. Not the best way to start a thread to make friends......Blush

ilovetermtime · 14/11/2012 05:20

I'm a bit late, but thanks blame for replying to me earlier, and also hully for explaining amillion's posting style (iykwim). I thought I was missing something, but it's just amillion being stubborn, phew!

SoupDragon · 14/11/2012 07:17

I do not agree I got it wrong.

Yet every single other poster says you did.

I can only assume you are being deliberately stubborn. As stubborn as a mule perhaps.

AlienRefluxovermypoppy · 14/11/2012 07:42

joiyuk The original OP thought MN was shit, but she didn't mention the frogs, that is just amillion checking her posting history and seeingher kids were in French education, so she wrongly assumed other posters had done the same (who does that?!) and were being racist

xenaphobic

She's nuts, HTH!

ExitPursuedByABrrrrrrr · 14/11/2012 07:46

Who has the time to check people's posting history?

Slubberdegullion · 14/11/2012 07:51

Exit, I have a mad bag of snakes and a mad box of frogs. The snakes are angry and the frogs are bouncy. I may add to my collection a crate of (cane) toads who are sullen mad.

JenaiMarrHePlaysGuitar · 14/11/2012 09:23

I sometimes check posters' history, mainly to fill in any gaps on my spreadsheet.

HullyEastergully · 14/11/2012 09:35

Extrapolation:

I do so others do.

Except they don't.

There's the flaw.

EmpressOfTheSevenOceans · 14/11/2012 09:40

We can't all, and some of us don't. That's all there is to it.

BlameItOnTheCuervHoHoHo · 14/11/2012 09:41

ditto the links.

I only check posters history if my trolldar is twitching. most of the time I rely on memory.

BlameItOnTheCuervHoHoHo · 14/11/2012 09:42

if you are mning from a phone its a pita to follow links/search.

MrsWembley · 14/11/2012 09:43

Omg omg omg!

I just quickly checked the other thread to remind myself how lunatic the whole thing was and found I'd been deleted!Blush

I thought MN emailed or something to tell you you had and why!

ConfusedConfusedConfused

Mintyy · 14/11/2012 09:45

I check everyone's posting history daily.

Mintyy · 14/11/2012 09:46

MrsWembley - no, hq don't let you know when or why they delete you.
