Unwelcome visitors - and recent "unpopular" threads

We thought you should know that we've had a few "visitors" lately who have, collectively, been hellbent on stirring up bunfights on the boards.

They're not your average hairy trucker/bored schoolboy/silly perve but a group from another (now defunct, it seems) forum.

They were behind the Unpopular Opinions thread - and a fair few other threads that have kicked off recently.

We're on the case.

But we would appreciate your help with "Hoovering" up any visitors our Ban button may have missed.

So do report any suspicions using the Report link, and we promise to check 'em out - though it make take us a while

How sad, it appears to be a whole thread about what is going on, on threads over here??

I was completely right in joining MN. Obviously it's the place to be, if peeps from other fora have to pop over here to read what's going on to have a topic to talk about on their own site

However, MNHQ say it's not this particular group.....so who is it???

I'm a nube but I have to say I have been made to feel very welcome.....I'm off to see if they'll let me in the bunker now. I'm taking as a sweetner

I know HQ have said they aren't the ones that got banned (shame) but i am glad they are discussing "us" on their own thread rather than coming on here. They really would make the average IQ of mn drop

The ones that have stayed here seem nice. Nice in a good way, not the faux-nice Nag's Head way.

Speaking as someone who posts on both sites and has done for years (albeit sporadically on here) I don't care what you think about my IQ.

Speaking as the mum of a lad who has such severe learning difficulties his IQ, if measurable, would be seen as very low, I don't care if a low IQ is supposed to be seen as an insult.

I would ask why, if you are so happy with your site why you all seem to spend so much time discussing MN.

and then coming over here merely to scavenge idea's to run back with.

no this thread is a bit dull. just HQ letting us know that, as suspected, some of the more contentious threads have been started by site invaders set to cause trouble.

lots of people asked if it was BMC. HQ said NO.

then someone linked to BMC where they were indeed discussing MN and when they have been on here and linked to a fe threads.
Some on there were calling Gigantaur a fake.
Gigantaur went on and told them to shove it (although worryingly she did kind of out herself to the world in doing so)

then they were very rude back to her and one of the BMC'ers told her she was superior because she is still registered.
