Unwelcome visitors - and recent "unpopular" threads

We thought you should know that we've had a few "visitors" lately who have, collectively, been hellbent on stirring up bunfights on the boards.

They're not your average hairy trucker/bored schoolboy/silly perve but a group from another (now defunct, it seems) forum.

They were behind the Unpopular Opinions thread - and a fair few other threads that have kicked off recently.

We're on the case.

But we would appreciate your help with "Hoovering" up any visitors our Ban button may have missed.

So do report any suspicions using the Report link, and we promise to check 'em out - though it make take us a while

I have just thought of the most brilliant name.
It is rude but more innuendo than outright swears, and very MNetty.

Shall keep it secret until I find someone worthy to bestow it upon

I didn't post anything just wanted to have a read. You are so right though when you said about how there are quite a few posters who really do seem to just want to stir up the regulars...laughable cos they're not very good at it really, as they're so obvious

Is it just me or is anyone else having problems logging on?

I had to make a new account just to ask emailed mumsnet to no avail(sorry I know you're busy) previous name was ladypumpington. Is it because I've been blocked from using mumsnet because if it is I don't know why, I have not knowingly hurt anyone ever and if I have done I apologise.

Thanks beertricks! Just to make it clear I have NEVER belonged to a forum before, until mumsnet. That was just love at first sight, I'm so happy I found this site and would be devastated if I'm banned. Thanks for the advice will report myself!
