Pushchair Thread Part 3! Is there anyone who doesn't have a bugaboo?

Thought I would start one off!

Where are you all?

OP posts:
scattykatty · 29/07/2009 11:37

Maybe they just feel nervous when they are with you cos you're their Mum and they don't want to be seen to do anything wrong (my FIL is a little bit like that), so when they are left on their own with the LO's they'll be much more active.

They are their sons children afterall so when left with them I'm sure they will be really good. Don't worry, this is your chance for a relaxing break!

Raining here too I had this strange thought earlier that it was the end of July, silly me forgetting it was clearly October

JigglyPiggy · 29/07/2009 11:48

lol skatty it certainly seems like october and not july!

im sure the GP's will be fine with the LO's while you are away. it probably is the case that they don't want to step in when you are there iyswim? my MIL is super cautious about 'stepping on toes' with the LO's and quite often bites her lip when she can see dh digging himself into a deeper hole!

cant face another day of craft stuff or play dough as DD gets it everywhere! guess its barbies and dressing up for me today!

nicolamumof3 · 29/07/2009 13:05

library's always good on a wet day. or just get them in their wellies and let them go puddle splashing!

FlyMeToDunoon · 29/07/2009 15:16

pics of liner on Infinity
I think it looks fab!
But do I need to worry about the orange/green and Irish politics?

nicolamumof3 · 29/07/2009 16:34

that looks bloody fab! like custom made as it matches handle cover.

FlyMeToDunoon · 29/07/2009 17:51
Grin
FlyMeToDunoon · 29/07/2009 19:55

I am torn.
I have photographed the Jane Energy and fallen in love with the colours and fabrics again. Managed to fold the raincover up to an acceptable size that stows in the basket and I will be able to get shopping in there too. It's new. A second hand XT will never be new iyswim
I would need to sell to afford even a second hand xt and don't even have the Paypal funds atm to have both and compare them.
Sigh

lillypie · 29/07/2009 20:01

I think the Energy is much nicer than the xt.If I ever see another pink one I will snap it up.

Infinity looks super gorgeous by the way

FlyMeToDunoon · 29/07/2009 20:17

Thanks.
Has anyone had both the Jane Energy and an XT to give a balanced opinion?

nicolamumof3 · 29/07/2009 20:46

dunoon why don't we meet up you could then compare my xt?

FlyMeToDunoon · 29/07/2009 20:52

Yes good idea. I can load the Jane with DVDs.

nicolamumof3 · 29/07/2009 21:04

sounds good, im pretty free from the w/end onwards

5inthebed · 29/07/2009 21:06

Basl, I'd get the BJCM. I had both XT and BJCM at same time, and used/liked/loved the BJCM far more than the XT.

Nicola, so jealous of your child free holiday!

5inthebed · 29/07/2009 21:08

Now I'm at Dunoon for being able to meet up with Nicola! Nicola, can you pursuade your DH that you need to fly/land in Newcastle so we can at least have a coffee?

nicolamumof3 · 29/07/2009 21:13

OP posts:
FlyMeToDunoon · 29/07/2009 21:44

off for an early night.

buggylovinmummy · 29/07/2009 21:47

Legoland is fab we went a couple of weeks ago

nicolamumof3 · 29/07/2009 21:52

i haven't been to legoland for a couple of years. we are going with two oldest boys and leaving luka behind (bad mummy) i just don't think luka will enjoy it yet, and tom has to forego so much for his little brothers so it will be nice for him too.

well i will be bringing boys with me dunoon so feel free to bring dd's? or i can come to tw no bother on train?

sal1309 · 30/07/2009 09:20

Morning all.

Congrats sal!!!!!!!

I got rid of everything, literally everything apart from the cot so have to start buying everything again. Bugaboo was first on the list of course

Any bug stuff would be interested in.

It is tipping it down here and just sold more stuff on ebay so need to brave it to post office (going to be lazy and go in the car as I've just washed my hair!!)

5inthebed · 30/07/2009 10:45

Congratulations Sal! When are you due?

Selling Mutsy, decided I want something else. Not sure what yet.
