I don't want to have to sell apples quest on ebay

pebbles79 · 24/03/2009 16:25

Sell what misdee, the Bee or the wee cutie sitting in it

OP posts:
misdee · 24/03/2009 16:26

both, pebbles lol

sweetkitty · 24/03/2009 16:27

Oh misdee lovely pram and of course lovely baby

I want one now

Am now I thought the Zapp would be a good pram to get but getting put off it now, also the slight recline of the seat, DD3 is so nosy I think she will be hanging out the pram most of the time hence me wanting a bumper bar.

peebles - I don't think the footrest thing will affect it, I think I would only have it "up" if it was a very newborn baby in the pram, DD3 is 8 months and definitely needed the footrest down IYSWIM

carrielou2007 · 24/03/2009 16:43

Lol at Misdee, what a cutie pie (the pram's not bad either !!)

Dis I want your apples but drowning under buggies here I can't bring another into the house, it's a big house but...! Nearly got a buggy for every day of the week !!

nicolamumof3 · 24/03/2009 16:43

well my apples hasn't come today i think i will send it back anyway tbh, dp is insisting we take nipper to london. think i should look for cheaper quest £150 is a lot, should just hang out for the black lime one i really want, surely it will turn up???!

5inthebed · 24/03/2009 16:54

I think you should sell it Misdee...to me Any joy with the bargain bee?

Nicola, Mothercare have red quest in for £120 at the moment. Was test driving them with the Sumo in today. Also looked at blue XLR. He looks scrummy in it, but it iw so much more heavier than the Quest, even though just a kiloish heavier. I might buy that orange/grey Quest from Tescos though!

carrielou2007 · 24/03/2009 17:02

Nicola there is somewhere selling them for 99.99 I was looking at them the other day, can't remember who, think it was a price comparison (was searching for best price on apples I think but Boots will do 20% off and will prob get one next time they do)

Just put dd in the triumph and I just don't like it, I love the pink but that's it. She is used to it as my childminder has one but I just don't like it. Xt is staying, zapp for holidays and volo for car. Black quest hopefully will be going soon when I hear back from buyer. Only one buggy with a recline? Eek!!

nicolamumof3 · 24/03/2009 17:07

you know you can get old model quest in the pink still carrie? i want the black/lime quest so i should just get that, as its £50 cheaper. will search again!!

mel, i'd get that quest QUICK it will sell out if it hasn't already you will make money on it when you sell im still tempted. thinking im about 80% sure im going to return apples quest!!!

Sawyer64 · 24/03/2009 17:20

Tried that Tip to release the held back funds on Paypal, but unless i'm doing something wrong,it won't let me make a payment of 0.01p.

So am still waiting for my money, but have posted off my Maclaren XT.

Now have no buggy whatsoever, have bought another one on Ebay, but seller hasn't contacted me at all, despite 2 E mails.

I'm beginning to hate E Bay. Wish I could have afforded your lovely Pink Triumph Carrielou

carrielou2007 · 24/03/2009 17:21

That's the one I was looking at Nicola, I do like the black one I have but it has bits of blue on (ok very very small amount) and it just feels a bit plain for me. If I could get the quest in the raspberry colour of the triumph then would get that and the xt could go to Babyjj!!

5inthebed · 24/03/2009 17:24

I'm going to order it tonight or tomorrow hopefully!

Disenchanted3 · 24/03/2009 17:25

sawyer you have to have 'other' money in there,

if you get someone to send you a penny, then you will have £xxx ampount from xt on hold, 1p available and the 1p will then be refunded.

nicolamumof3 · 24/03/2009 17:51

favour to ask...

can anyone do a bank transfer for paypal funds??

carrielou2007 · 24/03/2009 18:09

What have you found ??

MrsMagooo · 24/03/2009 18:52

Sawyer you need to refund the 1p as opposed to making a payment. If no joy I have something you can borrow, it's not fab & am selling it but you're more then welcome to borrow it to tide you over.

Sawyer64 · 24/03/2009 18:54

Thats very kind of you MrsM,will update you on Thursday.

I will look for "refund" bit then, couldn't see it before, will check again.

Disenchanted3 · 24/03/2009 18:58

sawyer,

on your opp page it will have 'tranactions'

on that page it will list each thing you have paid for or been paid for,

find the payment for buggy,

on the left it says 'details'

click it

at the very bottom of the page it says 'refund'

click it and enter 0.01p

MrsMagooo · 24/03/2009 19:00

Okey doke, I do have it on eBay so if you think you'll need to borrow it let me know as I'll take it off whilst you borrow it

If you go into PP, click on details next to the payment, scroll right down & click on issue refund & follow the instructions. Just remember to adjust the amount.

BeehiveBaby · 24/03/2009 19:04

Sorry about my completely confusing post...it was the improvements I meant I wanted, not the pink! Anyway, I debated with the supplier (babyboom 2000, down to earth to the point of gruff but very very quick and knowledgeable ) and felt confident it would be the latest model and it sure is, so I am a happy bunny. I thought my FastFold was easy to push with one hand but the Bee is something else .

DD2 takes up a bit more of it than your adorable bubs though Misdee! She holds on to the frame as well as if she thinks she will fall out LOL. Already stratched it to buggery but hohum . Made little leather frame protectors before bputting on the buggyboard in case I have to claim on the warrenty too.

5inthebed · 24/03/2009 19:51

Tesco have sold out of the orange quest

Sawyer64 · 24/03/2009 20:20

Thanks ladies, but after finding all the stuff, as you quite rightly said I have to have funds in there.

Oh well,I have to wait for the "positive feedback" or the 21 days.

Thanks MrsM,don't want you to have to take it off EBay.We are coping as DD2 is enjoying walking. and at least I drive,so that helps too.

Hopi · 24/03/2009 20:23

Not surprised at that price! It was a great deal for a Quest

I've been out all day trying to sort out a new car as mine went pop last week so I've been stranded! Anyway, found one that I really liked so took it for a test drive and have put a deposit down on it I'm hopefully getting it on Saturday! First thing I looked at was the boot space to make sure there was loads of room for my obsession . When I got home hubby made reference to my latest purchase by saying that the Bee would be 'as snug as a bug in a Pug' (I've bought a Peugeot) Lol!

pebbles79 · 24/03/2009 20:24

Sawyer, I'll stick 10p into your paypal account for you if you like?

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 24/03/2009 20:24

lol hopi!

meant to text you 5in as i noticed the quests were sold out you don't want grey anyway!!!!
