I always said the next buggy would be a black one, lol. I quite like red though.

LOL Bexie. I once had to throw a perfectly good Mac quest away because it rolled into a duck pond. It stunk. Back then (at the beginning of my pram life) I didn't know you could was the covers.

Are you keeping it on the same frame Bexie? I prefer the newer basket style to the old ones.

I think thats why i've not pushed using the black one with Tom. I would just feel so guilty if I ended up liking it more than the red one. Tom just ignores both Micralites and climbs straight into the MB anyway, lol.

i've never been that keen on red, apart from my zapp and of course the CK with the polka dots is MINE!!!

The old style basket is crapola. The new style looks ok, don't think you'd get that much more in it? The plastic bit on the right side of the red seat is bent, lol. The pin is missing too, so I wouldn't put the red seat on the new frame. The red hood has a rip where FIL fixed it. Was thinking of getting chunkle-munkle to make me a hood. Am getting a waterproog backed liner made in red sheep, so might get the hood in that design too?

Saw those liners on Ebay. They are great for when its raining as the mesh bit lets it in sometimes.

I spent ages once trying to work out why Tom was all wet, lol. Really need to avoid puddles with them. I'll be finding them with the liner on .

apparently it's most of the forumup ones, so at least it's not our fault, we didn't break nuffin!

I washed my P&T bits tonight and the second thin rod in the hood worked it's way out and has gotten stuck in my washing machine through a hole in the drum DH is going to freak... until I point out that my p&t probably worth more than the washing machine

I'm off to bed, start work at 7 in the morning .

Up early today to prepare for Charlotte's birthday party later on Picked up my new car yesterday and the boot is huge!!!! Big enough for at least 2 pushchairs and all my shopping I thought I did well with the old car when I had a double, two singles and a Zapp in there - but there was no room for shopping. My new bot could easily have all of that AND the shopping! It is FAB!

The blue hood for the Bee arrived yesterday and I'll be ordering the baby nest later on too from Chunkle Munkle.

What other websites do you ladies use to buy and sell your pushchair bits and bobs?

Morning everyone! Well I'm off to my friends house for lunch today, will be so nice to have someone else cook for a change! DH is great around the house but cooking is something he doesn't do. Have made some caramel cake to take along and I'm sure there will be alcohol involved too

Oops, I somehow managed to buy a black on black Mac with matching footmuff this morning

Now I have to wait patiently for it to be delivered and think up an excuse of why I DS3 needs it.

I wish that did a polka dot XT. I would buy that.

I don't think polka dots are girly. DS has a polka dot raincoat. I think there is a pic of him in it on my profile.

now i've received my quest covers i won of ebay they are lovely but you know me, want to wash them to bring them up even nicer, so hands up who's put a mac hood in washing machine??

also just taken quest out, it is fab, love, love, love it! im so happy think i have two great pushchairs quest fab to push one handed plus the frame is just the right size for tate to push along so he walks behind holding on (like on a buggyboard but walking!) came home to my parcel on doorstep, i love it when things come faster than expected was a lovely surprise!

I think with colours it's each to their own, some people may look at my dd in a black and lime green buggy and find it strange but if it's what you like that's all that matters. They say there's nothing more invisable than a woman with a buggy. Maybe that's why so many people cut in front of you then growl when the wheels catch the back of their heels (or that could just be me!!)

I've put mac hoods in the wash, in a pillow case and on a wool wash no spin. Think it was Hopi who had done it and it's been fine for me.

We are just off out to get dd some new shoes at the clarks factory shop in Street. Then some clothes at the Gap outlet amongst others.

i'll give it a go then carrie and see how it comes out, sure it will be fine, they are lovely covers, really happy with them.
