yes i know, its because its not even available yet. i've rung them!

FlyMeToDunoon · 27/03/2009 18:56

at 'does anyone know anyone who works at john lewis?'

Post a thread Nicola. I am sure I have read about someone getting stuff because they did.

sweetkitty · 27/03/2009 19:00

That is a lovely pram Nicola

5inthebed · 27/03/2009 19:01

Bexie Are you still selling your Micralite? Gutted that Di sent her Apples back, just sold my Buzz today so could have bought it

I need another pram, I feel light headed just having the one!

Tried a BJCM in John Lewis today. I am in love! It folds so easy, I need one. Didn't like the colour they had though, quite like a black one, so going to hunt one of those down as well.

sweetkitty · 27/03/2009 19:05

I currently want

a Zapp
a BJCM
a Maclaren Quest in powder pink
a M&P Luna without knackered wheels

nicolamumof3 · 27/03/2009 19:07

one is nice 5in! says the lady that just bought another maclaren! you can get those apples quests for £126 del i saw somewhere im sure. but i've got my heart on a cath kidston now!

5inthebed · 27/03/2009 19:12

I like that Cath Kidston one, but you know me Nicola, I think red is too girly (even though my fastfold was red). I found a grey an orange quest, like the ones Tescos had, going for £90 at Fenwick, so might go buy that if I dont buy the Micralite. Waiting for a lady to get back to me on Ebay about one that coems with loads as well, I want the newer backet rather than the old style one.

I really want a BJCM! What colour is yours SK? (and when are you selling it )

FlyMeToDunoon · 27/03/2009 19:17

If I had unlimited funds I would still like to try out:
A hauck Infinity, in lime green.
A bugaboo cam
A bugaboo bee
I wold also buy a new MB in mmmm plum or chocolate and customize the hood and liner.

Fortunately/unfortunately I do not have unlimited funds.
Sigh.

pebbles79 · 27/03/2009 19:19

Sorry I think it's quite girly too, very Minnie Mouse. It's lovely though.

sweetkitty · 27/03/2009 19:27

5inthebed - don't have a BJCM it's just on my wish list lol

5inthebed · 27/03/2009 19:31

Oops, read want as have

I would like to try

BJCM
Bugaboo Cam
Bugaboo Bee
P&T Vibe
M&P SKate/Joolz
Britax Vigour 4+

The list could go on!

carrielou2007 · 27/03/2009 19:31

Not keen on that Nicola and not for a boy? Not very CK though, I would have thought pale blue with lots of flowers (like the Tesco bags!!) more in keeping!

FlyMeToDunoon · 27/03/2009 19:49

yes actually with unlimited funds I would have rather a lot more.

sweetkitty · 27/03/2009 20:03

oh yes unlimited funds I would have 7 one for each day of the week

nicolamumof3 · 27/03/2009 20:25

well i like it!! i don't think its girly. its red? how is that girly lol!!!

carrielou2007 · 27/03/2009 20:53

Sorry, I don't understand the whole red for boy or girl thing, red is not for a boy it's for a girl imo. Those polka dots especially I would say would not be for a boy. For a small baby it's not always easy to tell hence the blue/pink thing.

My dd could be dressed head to toe in pink, sat in her pink bugaboo with her white blonde hair and super cute girlie smile and old ladies would say 'how old is your little boy?'!!!!!!!!!!!

nicolamumof3 · 27/03/2009 20:59

really?? i think red is red? pink is for a girl and blue for a boy mostly (but my boys wear pink anyway) so is it girly for me to dress them in red? they have red trousers, shoes? i've had red pushchairs before certainly not girly imo, have to agree to disagree i think!

5inthebed · 27/03/2009 21:04

Red clothes are fine Nicola LOL.

carrielou2007 · 27/03/2009 21:06

We will, I couldn't put a boy in a red pushchair! Clothes are different as it will be affected by the style/design.

nicolamumof3 · 27/03/2009 21:08

i must find some pics of the boys in the red zapp!

pebbles79 · 27/03/2009 21:12

I would put a boy in a red pushchair but not a red polkadot one, lol! Just goes to show how different we all are

BexieID · 27/03/2009 21:43

I haven't taken the black Micralite out yet! Need to get some boxes as well. Grr!

My other Micralite is red and I would get a red or black Nipper. Red is fine for girls and boys.

nicolamumof3 · 27/03/2009 21:49

Thank you bexie i thought i was in some kind of weird stereotypical genderisation (sp) forum then thinking im sure red isn't just for girls???

5inthebed · 27/03/2009 21:55

Thanks Bexie. I have til Tuesday to decide what pram I am getting, so no hurry.

I had a red micralite (well 2 actually) and loved it! Maybe I should get a red one again? Or if I get a black one, I could funk it up with some pretty colours.

BexieID · 27/03/2009 21:56

Tom has been in a pink pushchair last year when the mobile creche carers decided to take the kids for a walk to the river to feed the ducks, lol. I think that was the day that Tom rolled the Micralite down the stairs and broke the hood and the seat wire thingy came off, lol. Didn't have time to fix it before having to go out! That poor Micralite has been through the wars! I think I feel guilty getting that black one, lol.
