Snunkies are pretty but expensive, think i will get my mum and nan to get their sewing machines out, they made me a silver organza pram set for the duette so can make me some liners and footmuffs!

pushchair · 27/01/2009 09:49

Result nicola! lillypie the raincover arrived and it fits well. Packaging perfectly servicable! Thanks.
I quite the look of the Grand Tour. Naff name and as for the clock, thermometer and strollometer eurgh! and pointless. Funky ad.
Dd1 back to school. DD2 stil off nursery. Waiting for sainsburys delivery and then out to post ebay parcels.

TheOtherMaryPoppinsDiets · 27/01/2009 09:50

4andno you could get a sideline going there

MrsMagooo · 27/01/2009 09:50

Bloody good quality though, I paid £50 for a Buggysnuggle & the quality was so poor compared to a Snunkie.

Nicola take it for a test run, maybe you'll fall in love with it?

DD1 has a sewing machine too, perhaps i could have a sweat shop going

horsemadgal · 27/01/2009 09:52

Mary, yes think I remember. Did it have matching parasol?

You could also try just washing your P&T covers in the bath. That Oxi stuff is good for any stains.

nicolamumof3 · 27/01/2009 09:52

my dazzle has arrived!!! really like it but not sure its as nice as xt now lol!

in very good condition just needs a wipe over, it came with a footboot too and raincover so v.impressed!!

pushchair · 27/01/2009 09:53

Oh can you put up some pics of dazzle?

Maclaren · 27/01/2009 10:01

Ohh Nicola thanks did you get the black on black?? I need a stroller for the shops the MB Breeze will be a nightmare I think when its busy really bought it for the school run and carbooting in the summer very nearly bought one but thought I would wait until yours arrived to know the condition lol!

nicolamumof3 · 27/01/2009 10:03

the condition is good, just a bit of wheel wear no marks to frame, a little to the handles but not enough to bother me and a few v.minor marks to fabric (being black shows up everything!) think i do now prefer xt tho. can't work out how to get apron clipped on??

TheOtherMaryPoppinsDiets · 27/01/2009 10:06

was this one of the £69.99 ones Nicola?

MrsMagooo · 27/01/2009 10:08

Sounds fab condition Nicola

Could probably make a bit on it if you popped it on eBay if you ended up preferring XT?

morning all!
no luck selling 4seasons yet MrsM although someone asked if i would sell for £160delivered and they would pay straight away. i said yes and havent heard back oh well.

nicolamumof3 · 27/01/2009 10:15

i do prefer xt already i think!!! i can't work out how to attach apron otherwise i would take it out for spin.

have put it on ebay already! as i do think i will prefer the maclaren. theres something about maclarens i just prefer over any other buggy.

yes mary one of the 69.99 ones!

have put on ebay £85 plus post!

nicolamumof3 · 27/01/2009 10:15

that will mean i loose a little bit after fees but hope should sell for that??

TheOtherMaryPoppinsDiets · 27/01/2009 10:17

linky Nicola?

MrsMagooo · 27/01/2009 10:17

Morning Techno I've sent you an email lovely!

Hope that person gets back in touch with you re the 4 Seasons as that wouldn't be to bad a price would it?

That's a fair price Nicola!

Oh btw if you guys might find this handy - it works out much will be deducted when you recieve funds into your Paypal so handy to know prior to lising on eBay

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 27/01/2009 10:20

thats good mrs.m

i've worked out how to put apron on so going to take for test drive to docs before i pack back up into box

MrsMagooo · 27/01/2009 10:23

Oooo this one is even better, works out your Paypal fees, your eBay FVF & insertaion fee! Ignore the dollar sign as that's an error apparently!

Just found this linked on MSE - might be useful in some way? Handy to know how many people are watching on something you want ;) www.goofbay.com/ebay_most_popular_tool.html

Disenchanted3 · 27/01/2009 10:32

sold the older XT, made a bit of a profit on it too

I decided to keep the footmuff to go with the newer XT thats coming today.

I was going to sell my Pink XL kaiser now I have the Mac footmuff but realised I need it for the P&T cause I dont like the cocoons!

MrsMagooo · 27/01/2009 10:34

Goofbay is fab TOMP fab way to snipe too

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 27/01/2009 10:36

well done disenchanted!

not taking dazzle out now! need to get tate after i've been to docs then thinking i will take boys for lunch in town and do my bits and pieces i need to do then come home for luka's nap so will take p&t after all. and i've worked out apron now lol! quite indecisive aren't i!!!

TheOtherMaryPoppinsDiets · 27/01/2009 10:36

good job on the XT Disenchanted3

I don't like the cocoons either for P&T and just used a thicker footmuff instead, also means they can get away with being in the newborn position for longer my 10mo still fits in there when he has to!

Disenchanted3 · 27/01/2009 10:38

Feel a bit bad, but bought for £40 with footmuff and sold for £45 without.

In my defence I put it on BIN 45 and best offers, expecting to take an offer of about £30, but woman said she will pay 45 on collection.
