npg1 the wheel does come off but DP did it for me and I have no idea how.

npg1 · 25/01/2009 19:41

Ok thanks pushchair. Did you say you had the powertrack and had the wobbly wheel thing? Did you manage to fix it/ make it better?

pushchair · 25/01/2009 19:46

Dp replaced the bearings which are under the hubcaps, sort of, on front wheel and put bearing grease in there too. That did improve it.

sal1309 · 25/01/2009 19:47

hi all hope ur all ok

well im amazed dd is in bed ive washed up and tidied and hoovered.

now having a nice glass of wine and a relax.

npg1 yes you can take the wheel off but cant remember how lol.

pushchair · 25/01/2009 19:49

Decent bike shop would do it for you. There is also a problem with front wheel that can be sorted by adjusting the large nut at front. You can find details of how to do this on the Johnstone Prams website. They are the UK distributer for Jane.

pushchair · 25/01/2009 19:58

npg1 powertrack front wheel

elmoandella · 25/01/2009 20:08

hello, kids in bed. not sleeping yet. gotta put my printer into action for forest being collected tomorrow. but cant find any parcel tape. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah

carrielou2007 · 25/01/2009 20:27

Lillypie will prob be mid afternoon tomorrow if you are in?? Got some parcels to take to post office in the morning (and some bills to pay at the bank) then park, hopefully dd a sleep then lunch. If you are not in I'll put the raincover through your letter box or if you are in you can give the dazzle a quick spin!!!

nicolamumof3 · 25/01/2009 20:31

ooooh dazzle im so undecided. i really want to try one. i've set my heart on the black frame tho nappy, as i don't like the grey wheels or handles im afraid.

im not selling the zapp techno i so LURVE it!!!

carrielou2007 · 25/01/2009 20:36

It really is fab, the ONLY thing I don't like is the raincover as it is an all over one so it is big when not needed. That is brill of course but when it's a do I need it or not day and I walk to town it's a pain in the wotnot.

Also I have talked myself into the black xt now. Bless her Hannah is now saying sell it to someone else and I'm like no I promised you first dibbs and if you want it it's yours. She's like no if someone else wants it sell it and I'm like but only if you reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally don't want it (we're both too polite to make a decision!!!)

Oh my god Lost is nearly here roll on 9pm...

nicolamumof3 · 25/01/2009 20:38

i hate raincovers like that the p&t one is huge too takes up half the basket the best raincovers are maclarens they really are.

have you had your dazzle from new carrielou? i think i am v.v.tempted in ordering one of the ebay ones they have v.good feedback.

carrielou2007 · 25/01/2009 20:43

No I bought it on here then bought the footmuff from that ebay seller and a parasol from on here (not used it yet!!) and a new raincover.

I think they are a fab price they sell them for and they must do a return if you hate it (less courier charge??)

I love the buggy I really do but have used it about 5 times since I've had it and now want something else. I like it as it is really different and gives you that nice 'feel' and would be robost enough to be my main walking buggy. I had my doubts about the handles but they really are well designed and comfortable.

nicolamumof3 · 25/01/2009 20:46

what is the material like is it kind of padded looks it? if i like then i may not keep xt you see. it will be my main umbrella buggy! (then i have p&t, zapp which i adore and either black xt or black dazzle)

lisad123 · 25/01/2009 20:47

MRSM did you still want frog pics?

pushchair · 25/01/2009 20:57

IMO pushchairs should be designed to carry raincover in specific pocket. Not take up shopping basket or be so bulky as have to be left at home most of the time. Agree Maclaren ones are the best.

nicolamumof3 · 25/01/2009 20:59

oooh i so want to get a dazzle dp would go mental tho as have xt coming tomorrow.oooh i can't decide what would be best??????

buggylovinmummy · 25/01/2009 21:02

I know its the wrong place but has anyone got any maclaren xt comfort packs for sale nothing girly, thanks

nicolamumof3 · 25/01/2009 21:06

i've gone and sold all mine then ordered new xt so thats why i wanted the red one that flame selling sorry

buggylovinmummy · 25/01/2009 21:08

Thats ok nicola, ive just swapped my zapp for an xt with someone on here and i love it so thought id try and get some different coloured comfort packs so i can have it different all the time.

nicolamumof3 · 25/01/2009 21:20

what comfort pack do you have on it now?

love the xt, just sold mine and bought an new black one! ive just got a zapp as well and love it so much so light and nippy.

carrielou2007 · 25/01/2009 21:24

Yes the material is sort of padded/wadded slightly. I think the spec is very very similar to the xt, I know it is daft, selling a buggy for 85 quid then buying an almost identical one for 190 but hey nice to have a change!!!

buggylovinmummy · 25/01/2009 21:29

I have the grey xt with a lighter grey/silvery comfort pack. I loved my zapp too but my ds is 2.5 and quite big and was starting to look too big in there and said he didnt like it anymore so wanted a normal stroller to last until he doesnt need a buggy anymore. I also like to change my pushchairs a lot!!

nicolamumof3 · 25/01/2009 21:30

lol carrie i know i sold a perfectly good almost new maclaren and another one just to find a ANOTHER xt it is mad but if we are happy and can afford it who cares. i really think im going to order the dazzle as you say they might take it back if no good otherwise should be able to sell it on ok i reckon?

buggylovinmummy · 25/01/2009 21:31

nicola how many pushchairs do you have?

nicolamumof3 · 25/01/2009 21:31

oh don't we all buggy!! everyone needs a maclaren anyway. my zapp is fine for my 18m old but i don't think it would last him much more than another year either.

oooh getting excited bout getting a dazzle now!!
