I’m not really sure I’m a fan.
Partner sort of got himself into position where it was clear that’s what he wanted but I couldn’t angle my head properly and it all just felt a bit awkward. I said afterwards that I wasnt really a fan. I love oral- giving and receiving, but can’t seem to give enthusiastically whilst receiving as I can’t focus - if that makes sense.

anyway… just interested to know what others think 🤔

Only ever done it with him on top- way too awkward for all the reason listed above. Angle is all wrong, too many things at once, too much bum in face.

I hadn't actually thought of side by side.... still not quite picturing it working!

I can only receive oral flat on my back, and not for long as it gets too intense. Giving it, I don't much care what position he's in provided it's not upside down on top of me and my neck isn't about to break.

Rather than 69ing with one person on top and one getting crushed underneath, lie on your sides - it’s much more enjoyable and much easier.

This is our go-to foreplay position.

I’m a guy and I love it if my DP is on top. I guess it’s the view that I like the most, and getting covered in her juice. Apparently 69 is hard to get right and both climax from so I’ve never been keen for that reason.

I did try with my new man recently but he’s very big so it was causing a slight gag reflex and we tried both ways him on top and sideways.

It depends on your comparative heights. It works better with woman on top. I'd usually rather take turns, because I do lose focus on anything other than what's happening to me, but I'm fine with starting with it, just don't tend to get both of us to orgasm as the same time, because I become a bit incapable of doing anything.

And I'm not going to forget it with one partner, so it can be very good. Just usually not.

My DW and I have tried it a few times lying on our sides seems to be the most comfortable but the hottest is me lying on my back and my DW above. At first my DW said the same as you @Swimawayyy but we kind don't try actual simultaneous more stay in the position and take turns.

Might be easier if you wanted to give it another go to lie on your sides maybe?

Nope I can't concentrate on both at the same time, it's just overload for me. I'm happy to give to DH and I'm very happy also to receive ... but one or the other at a time!

In terms of positions - though we do it rarely, as it's not one of DWs favs - with her on top works best for us with maybe a pillow or two under my head. She feels more relaxed and in control of things as she pleasures me and I love the view, the intimacy and the fact that it just feels really hot.

Agree with@Forestriver that if she is approaching orgasm she can just leave off what she's doing to me and enjoy the moment - which frankly I do too!

My impression is that men like it and women find it too distracting. That holds true in my relationship. Funny because the stereotype is that women are good at multitasking, but then I suppose female orgasm is a trickier beast than the male one.

to answer OP - like many others, I like giving and receiving oral but prefer one at a time

Exactly this. I will try most things/positions but I always say no when dh asks to do this. You’re putting so much effort into trying to pleasure him that you can’t enjoy what he’s doing to you. I always seem to end up scraping his willy with my teeth too!

It's great. Can be a bit awkward at times, position wise. But done right it's a great position to orgasm
