Pubes on Men. Or Not?

My DH has normally just trimmed a bit but had been wanting to start shaving his pubes for a while. Last year he really went to town and shaved them all off and says it's much more comfortable so has kept it like this since. I'd probably prefer for him to have a bit of hair down there if possible but I don't mind it like it is at all. What do others like for men, pubes or no pubes. Is shaving it all for men common now?

I hope you'll not mind a man's perspective - at least from this particular man. Each entirely to their own, of course, but it wouldn't be for me personally. I'd feel like I looked ten years old again and I'd probably feel a bit weirded out, tbh.

I've shaved most off for about 20yrs, absolutely nothing to do with porn or looking bigger! (although growing it long will just make you look shorter as it would just hide length, trimming / shaving just shows the actual length if that was the goal?!) I always shave the balls, so not what a few hairs on there do for anyone and then trim right down the top, not so that it's bare but just neat. Each to their own, I'm sure many have a preference for a lot of hair down there, but I don't on myself or DW. Just regular maintenance a couple of times a week, causes no irritation during sex personally

Trimmed is much more attractive IMO and makes oral a lot more pleasurable for the person giving. I can count on one hand though the amount of times DH has actually trimmed. He knows I'm not a fan but I'm not winning the battle 🙄

My bf is the first man I have been with who trims a lot. It came as something of a surprise, as he's very mild mannered. I think it's not sexual really but has to do with athletics and personal comfort.

I'm a bit indifferent to it, really. I don't mind what he does with his pubes.

Hairless balls are fine, welcomed in fact, but I get the ick from men whom shave everything off. It's a total turn off in fact. Neatly trimmed, more so if it's a close crop is ideal. (And how I keep my own).

Am always bemused by those whom claim removing all pubic hair is more hygienic because it is not. Pubic hair serves a protective function by trapping pathogens that could otherwise enter your body. Shaving also causes micro abrasions to the skin through which bacteria and viruses can penetrate.

Dh doesn't do anything with his body hair and I love it. He has a full beard, a hairy chest and a full forest. I feel like it makes him look more masculine. He shaved his chest a few years ago for a dare and it made him look really wide. It didn't suit him at all and felt horrible as it grew back.

The beautician I've gone to for waxing for 10yrs says she does a lot of men's pubes and its getting far more common. I'm not convinced by completely bald, but I do like just a landing strip and everything else gone.
