Do men really prefer a fully shaved/ waxed woman?

Hi all,

Slightly embarrassing topic. After a drunken chat with a group of friends (mix of men and women) I am starting to question what I have always thought was common or expected in terms of women's intimate grooming.

During the convo, all the male friends said they prefer it when women are fully shaved/ waxed down there. All of them! They said it is better for oral and a turn on in general. Also most of the female friends seemed to agree and implied that that was their preferred style.

I was a bit surprised, as I never realized that had become the expected norm and most popular style? I must have been living under a rock! Especially considering that I have been single for a couple of years

Of course I acknowledge people have different tastes and expectations and not everyone is the same.

How the fuck would you get a definitive answer to that off a chat forum, where the majority of posters are women?!

Well, men whose sexual preferences are formed by pornography certainly do.

The important thing to remember is that it’s none of their business.

It is NOBODY else's business how anybody chooses to have their own pubic hair. Male or female. That is it really.

On this, nobody else's view matters a whit.

Who cares what men prefer? Do what you're happy with.

My OH has never shaved/waxed. Never been an issue.

If I was there I'd be finding out how many of those guys waxed their back, sack and crack.

I personally like to braid id. OH just flips the plait out of the way when needed.

I can't help thinking that if a bloke fancies you enough a bit of hair is neither here nor there. If he's put off by the fact you haven't waxed/shaved, the relationship was going nowhere anyway.

I've no idea what my DH would prefer. He's never mentioned it. I'd like to think our relationship hangs on bigger and better things than the perfect pubic arrangement.

It's impossible for around half the population of the world, to all prefer anything.

If you mean some men then yes they do, just as some women will.

It can also be influenced by age in some cases, with older men/women preferring hair.

But to echo other posters, why do you care?

The men I've been I have been intimate with have all preferred neatly trimmed or hair completely removed.

My age bracket is early t0's.

I've always preferred to be hairless or nearly hairless as I like the look and it just feels more comfortable down there. Just my personal preference.

I've not been in a relationship or intimate for over 6 years and being hairless is part of my personal grooming and nothing to do with pleasing a man. I also remove the hair from my legs and underarms.

It's a trend driven by porn, OP. But lots of people don't like that being said and don't like to admit that they have been influenced by that.

Who gives a shit what "most men" prefer? What matters is what I prefer, and he can like it or he can forget about seeing it.
