Anyone know how many places are there for each strand? For KS4

I think 25.

Ohh, really? I thought it was 50 per strand

When my daughter was applying it was 25 in each strand but 50 in MT. X

Honestly it really is, it's such a worrying time, my daughter fell in love with the school on the open day and that was it, there was no other option for her. God only knows how she would have reacted if she didn't get a spot. I feel for you guys.

Don't forget there is the waiting list too, some people don't accept their spot and also my daughter had two people leave within the first 3 weeks and then two more got offered them spots. X

Still nothing for theatre strand. Anyone else heard? DS's friend has received invitation for workshop for film and media production.

We haven't heard from the theatre strand yet either.

Not heard anything for dance, no.

I checked the application portal yesterday and it said Reference status ‘Not Sent’, which was unsettling. My son’s Head of Year confirmed she hadn’t been asked for a reference yet. What could this mean? 🤔

They probably only ask for references after they've whittled down from the workshops/interviews

That would make sense. Otherwise they’d have 1000s of references to plough through. Am just paranoid about things getting lost in the ether!
