Starting this thread for people with children applying to the Brit School year 10 entry 2025.

The Brit receptionist said they are being sent in batches - with invites across the three days,-26-28 Feb, so maybe they have only done 26 Feb so far 🤷‍♂️

My daughter has an invite for 27th Feb from theatre strand. Good luck everyone!

No news today from the Music strand 😟. Monday it shall be.... we hope.

Still no news from the VAD strand either 😕 my DD and I are climbing the walls

No news from music for us either - but the Brit school had an inset day today and the receptionist did say nothing would be sent out today 🤞🏼

Ah that makes sense. Thanks for that info. It will be a looong weekend.

We are out of area (at the moment) and my DD has an interview on 28th for MT. 😊

great news, good luck. Which day is it for? We are still waiting 😩

We are in catchment. She's off sick today, so I told her to go back to sleep after we had the email, so we haven't logged in yet. She was just glad that she was being given the opportunity to audition. I'll get her to log in later and let you know the day.

My DD has also just received an invitation for an audition for the Music strand on 27 February- she has to have her phone off for school but I can’t wait to tell her .

How stressful for you- maybe they are doing it day by day for the Music strand as they are interviewing over 3 days- and my DD has an interview on the 2nd day so hopefully you will hear soon! Best of luck!

Hello, has anyone had an invitation for a VAD interview yet? We submitted the portfolio around 10 Jan and my poor kid is going crazy... not sure whether we should be worrying or not.

great to hear more have received invites. can't believe how time flies, just half-term holidays next week and then they have their workshops already. fingers crossed for all our DCs! It does feel like getting a place there is like winning the lottery, the school is so popular.

We also haven't heard anything yet, I called again today and they told me the VAD strand will hear at sometime this week, that's different to what they told me last week.

My DD has a friend who found out she didn't get an interview for VAD so they have at least started working through the VAD applications
