Hmm wonder if she's lining herself up to be leader of the SNP at some point? Definitely not the last we'll see of her unfortunately.

OP posts:

Me and Dh were just discussing this and we definitely think she’s aiming for a Holyrood seat as a starting point. God help us all!

readsalotgirl63 · 04/07/2023 15:49

Have just seen this - agree would not be good if she ends up in Holyrood

determinedtomakethiswork · 04/07/2023 16:04

Oh that's interesting, I was thinking about her just the other day. There was a lot of fuss when she got in but I haven't heard anything about her since. I wish I could say that Scotland would be safe in her hands.

storminamooncup · 04/07/2023 17:41

Yep she'll be trying for MSP / SNP leader.

Can't stand her

"I'm awfy (not) working class, me"

ssd · 04/07/2023 18:06

Why do you all dislike her? I seen a speech she gave in the house of commons it was excellent and spot on.

stealtheatingtunnocks · 04/07/2023 18:08

She called us cunts, @ssd.

At first she seemed pretty good (I don't vote SNP but tend to like straight talking MPs)
But now nope, she is one of the worst attending MPs in Westminster and has a horrendous response rate to her constituents.
She's all about hitting headlines (when she does bother to turn up) rather then actually attending what she was elected to do.

These are absolutely my views on her.
She is as fake as come and cos playing a working class Scot pretty badly.

SkinnyMalinkyLankyLegs · 04/07/2023 18:25

From what I've seen of her, she's incapable of having any sort of polite conversation. All she seems to do is very aggressively shout and be rather abusive to her political opponents. Cannot stand her.

Whoiscomingtosaveyou · 04/07/2023 18:27

It’s laughable that she’s cited the toxic culture of Westminster since she has been part of feeding it herself.

This, she likes to get down with her bad self calling women cunts for having a different opinion than her.

SirChenjins · 04/07/2023 18:32

She has said some absolutely vile, vicious things about us and she’s a lying hypocrite with her false working class accent. She’s a rent a gob politician that gives other politicians a bad name. Loathe her.

SirChenjins · 04/07/2023 18:33
  • That gives politics
Waitwhat23 · 04/07/2023 18:35

This means she'll be vying for a position in the Scottish Parliament, doesn't it? Oh, fucking joy.

Waitwhat23 · 04/07/2023 18:36

For clarity, I do not want Mhairi Black in the Parliament. Her 'woman of the people' thing is laughable.

Who is us

SirChenjins · 04/07/2023 19:07

Those of us who are gender critical - the majority of women.

The thing is, when she first got elected it was all a ‘gaun yersel, hen’ thing because she was young.

Now she’s just an aggressive nearly 30 year old who hasn’t got much to offer.

It was in regards to people who want to keep single sex spaces, am paraphrasing but there is a video, very much '(females) be nice, let them (males) do as they please, don't be a cunt'

massistar · 04/07/2023 20:37

I'm not a huge fan but I think she went to Lourdes secondary. Not exactly posh Glasgow!

readsalotgirl63 · 04/07/2023 20:42

Think the family home is in Ralston which is posh Paisley. She described herself as a chip shop fryer but that was a Saturday job, her parents are a teacher and social worker and she herself is a graduate of Glasgow Uni so not quite the working class heroine she makes herself out to be

NowYouSee · 04/07/2023 20:47

I’m no fan of hers but bring an MP is a terribly toxic job and I can imagine has got worse during her time in parliament. Plenty of others have chosen to walk away whilst still young enough to do something else. So from that respect I really don’t blame her.

Yep - any woman who doesn’t want a male with a penis in their safe single sex spaces is a cunt according to Mhairi. Remember that.
