sqa exams 2023

So only about 2 months til the final exams so starting a thread to discuss revision, exams etc.

Have any schools released details of easter revision classes yet? I've heard nothing from our school and don't know if they are doing any. If they aren't, I might look at what else is on offer over easter.

He worked really hard though.

Congrats to all our DCs. 🎉🎉🎉. They have gone through so much over the past few years and faced more adversity than any recent generations, for sure.

2 Bs and a C here at Higher. He was hoping for 3 Cs and maybe a B if he was lucky so he's very happy. Sets him up well for starting S6 with confidence and hopefully a few more highers next year.

Nat5 ds didn't sign up for the text service so we won't find out his results till he gets home from a camping trip later this evening. Unless he caves in and phones me to open his envelope. The friends he's with have all signed up for text results so I reckon he'll cave

Nat 5 results through at 8am. 3 As, 4 Bs and a C. We are over the moon for him as he thought he wouldn't pass Computing Science at all.

He will be going on a European city break with DH. They are booking it later on🎉🎉🎉

For those still waiting on email results, make sure they check their junk folder as DDs results went in there. Thank goodness she checked

DS felt that way about computing science and glad not to have to appeal any of his grades. He got a C and relieved for him that he got a pass mark for a subject he just wasn't enjoying near the end.

Congratulations to all our DC!! All of these DC should be delighted with all the hard work and effort that they have put in.

6 As at Nat5 here- overjoyed esp with English (dyslexic) and maths (found the actual exam much harder than any of the past papers). He’s gone straight back to sleep though!

5 x A higher. So, soooo happy!! DS worked really hard, and in weird circumstances (nightmare flat renovation going on during April/may, with no bathroom/toilet!).

Mixed bag here. Mostly as expected, several As, but a C in one subject which he is really good at, all prelims and practice exams scoring in the high 90s and his teacher is always full of praise for him, he thought the exam went well. He is completely gutted about this one.
