So only about 2 months til the final exams so starting a thread to discuss revision, exams etc.

Have any schools released details of easter revision classes yet? I've heard nothing from our school and don't know if they are doing any. If they aren't, I might look at what else is on offer over easter.

Exam timetable for 2024 is now on the sqa website.
Dd’s exams are spread out this time. Thank goodness.
This year she had 3 subjects on consecutive days.

My poor DD2 has 3 Nat 5s in a row...Design and Manufacture, Business Management and Maths... yikes 😳

DD1's Highers are quite nicely spread out... although there's a long wait for Art on 29th May...

DS will be at Uni so who knows what his schedule will look like 🤷‍♀️... can't quite believe he's off this Wednesday 🙀

Ds3’s advanced highers are well spread out. More than a week between each one. He’s happy with that. I can’t believe we are in to September already!

Apparently this timetable has been withdrawn by the SQA - updated one out next week.

We got an email from our school today saying an updated one is being published on 14th September and that the SQA apologises for any inconvenience caused. I’m assuming it will be on their Twitter but haven’t checked.

Why is it being changed? I haven't had any email?

ds would have all his Highers within 9 days, I hope any changes will give him more time between the exams.

There was a message on the regular SQA email this week. They said it was to correct some exam durations and some exams towards the end of the timetable. So shouldn't have too much impact on the big hitters I wouldn't have thought. I think 15th September the revised one comes out.

I haven’t heard that the timetable is changing, I suppose it doesn’t really matter as it is well in advance. Last year they had to amend it when the coronation bank holiday was announced
