Groovee that’s awful, so sorry to hear that! X x

Alittlewornout · 16/01/2021 22:24

@Groovee don't often post but I do follow this thread. Thinking of you and your Dh. If it is of any comfort we went through something similar with my Dh 3 years ago, turned out to be benign. Just take a day at a time and be kind to yourself. He is in the right place and will be well looked after. Sending virtual hugs.xx

kurtrussellsbeard · 17/01/2021 01:12

@Groovee Thanks

Groovee · 17/01/2021 07:11

Thanks everyone it really is appreciated. I've had a decent sleep. Dd is away to work, ds is sleeping and I'm thinking I'll go to the baker for some bran scones x

Iwillneverbesatisfied · 17/01/2021 07:14

I had the wierdest dream where I was working from home and Matt Hancock was there and we were sharing a home office and then he had a bath and flooded my bathroom. Lockdown is really getting to me....

Fortunately my dream did not show me the bath moment just the flooding afterwards Envy

WouldBeGood · 17/01/2021 07:43

@Iwillneverbesatisfied 😂🤢

Secret crush...? Was he wearing this?

Don't tier the pants out of it.
WouldBeGood · 17/01/2021 07:43

With apologies to anyone eating breakfast

Iwillneverbesatisfied · 17/01/2021 07:54

God, no. I also remember I gave him a telling off for having his desk too close to mine.

RaspberryCoulis · 17/01/2021 08:48

I think it's because when he does interviews from home in his red, picture-lined room, he looks like he;s in the bathroom.

titsbumfannythelot · 17/01/2021 08:49

What are you trying to do to us @WouldBeGood 🤢🤢🤢

titsbumfannythelot · 17/01/2021 08:49

@RaspberryCoulis

I suppose it's a change from being a bookcase wanker
Groovee · 17/01/2021 08:51

😂😂 @Iwillneverbesatisfied you do not know how much you have me chuckling. You telling him off for being too close 😂

Iwillneverbesatisfied · 17/01/2021 08:54

Anas Sarwar has confirmed he is tanding again.

Good. We need a centrist but I cannot say how successful he would be.

Iwillneverbesatisfied · 17/01/2021 08:55

@Groovee I'm glad I made you smile! I do have the wierdest dreams though. I dreamt once I had a pet python Hmm

anon444877 · 17/01/2021 09:14

Not sure Hancock ever had any credibility with me but that video of him doing karaoke would've put the lid on it! As for the trousers, oh dear no!

Lockdownbear · 17/01/2021 10:40

Scot labour need a decent leader. Truthfully I didn't know the name of the last guy. Keir Stamer is definitely making his mark. Which is s good thing for Scotland.

Is Anas Sarwar a relation of Mohammed Sarwar who was Govan MP?

WouldBeGood · 17/01/2021 10:45

He’s his son, apparently.

I’d like proper socialist but not woke. I think that is but a dream

Sweetpotatoaddict · 17/01/2021 11:08

Anas sarwar wrote in the observer today and I can’t help wondering if he read this thread.

Lockdownbear · 17/01/2021 11:09

I've a lot of respect for Mohammed Sarwar over him bringing those guys back from Pakistan on the murder trial.

Dinnafashyersel · 17/01/2021 12:14

Google Matt Forde's podcast with Anas from December if you want a better sense of who he is. Covers all sorts of stuff as well as his political philosophy and also very entertaining. I really like him (as politicians go).

WouldBeGood · 17/01/2021 12:16

Any word on the gender stuff from him?

littlbrowndog · 17/01/2021 12:24

I think most of labour are identity is all and sex is some sort of spectrum

Dinnafashyersel · 17/01/2021 12:32

He is not an "identity" activist. Overriding philosophy to detoxify identity issues by focusing on what unites rather than what divides. Also applies to how he approaches racism which he has direct experience of.

WouldBeGood · 17/01/2021 12:36

That’s what I won’t vote for @littlbrowndog.

Unless they guarantee women only spaces

WouldBeGood · 17/01/2021 12:36

Thanks for the info. I’ll take a look.
