do you think he has taken a fancy to her? is she attractive??

JoolsToo · 04/05/2005 23:48

confiscate the binocs

voyeur · 04/05/2005 23:48

but how bloody embarassing that she has seen him - for me and him

OP posts:
juniperdewdrop · 04/05/2005 23:49

we need to know, is she attractive???

PuffTheMagicDragon · 04/05/2005 23:49

My take on this (based on previous experience ), is that he's seen something which has made him curious.......probably fairly innocent.

voyeur · 04/05/2005 23:49

Well, not attractive at all, in fact I've lost count of the amount of times dp has called her a dog - but very suspicious now of course

start again voyeur, she was looking over at your house? With binoculars? Where was she looking from and what would she see? How did he notice and why would he go upstairs to see her? Was he getting some sort of sexual kick out of it? How did she seem to feel about it?

lou33 · 04/05/2005 23:50

The fact that he has mentioned her many times, in whatever way , makes me suspicious tbh

juniperdewdrop · 04/05/2005 23:50

no he had binoculars.

btw men only say this over and over if they like the woman.

lavenderrr · 04/05/2005 23:50

she...the stupid neighbour silly!

voyeur · 04/05/2005 23:51

Her kitchen window is directly opp our spare bedroom window.... she is always looking out (as you do, from the kitchen window) and I understand from him that he saw her late one night, and thought he'd see what she was up to. I think he did get a kick out of it - he said it was the fear of getting caught

OP posts:
juniperdewdrop · 04/05/2005 23:51

thought it was him with them??? now I'm confused

juniperdewdrop · 04/05/2005 23:52

omg I'd be gutted. Can't imagine what I'd do tbh.

voyeur · 04/05/2005 23:53

Yes it was dp with binoculars, not the woman next door - she just looks out of her window normally, all the time so it looks like she's watching us

OP posts:
tiffini · 04/05/2005 23:54

i dont understand why you would need binoculars to see someone nextdoor at night.
if she had the light on in her kitchen, surely you could see enough if only next door??

juniperdewdrop · 04/05/2005 23:54

She's probably dreaming of a movie star like me

sorry not trying to make light. I hope you're going to be ok.

lou33 · 04/05/2005 23:54

he sounds like a fool, who doesnt look out of their kitchen window, it's normal. Spying with binoculars, creepy. Sorry

voyeur · 04/05/2005 23:56

that's why I think he was up to something more sinister that just looking - like you say, he could see enough normally without the binoculars. I know for a fact that a while ago she made a big deal of letting us know she had washes in the kitchen whilst her bathroom was being refitted and she had no bath etc

OP posts:
juniperdewdrop · 04/05/2005 23:56

Yes, sorry I agree it is creepy.

Imagine how you'd feel if you caught a male neighbour doing it to you?

lou33 · 04/05/2005 23:57

do you think there is something going on between them then?

juniperdewdrop · 04/05/2005 23:57

was just going to say that lou

voyeur · 04/05/2005 23:58

god knows - don't know what to think anymore

OP posts:
tiffini · 04/05/2005 23:58

oh dear, now it's piecing together.
Do you think she might have a thing for your dp?

lou33 · 04/05/2005 23:58

am v grateful for no neighbours windows overlooking me, and 7ft hedging all around

lou33 · 04/05/2005 23:59

I mean in the sense of them both knowing what's going on and encouraging it?
