You kept the whole Mumsnet community on the edge of our seats back in November with the story of your toxic MIL forcing your DH to keep a family christening secret from you.

When the thread finished your DH had confronted his mum, you'd gone to the christening anyway, and MIL had ignored your dd. Then your dad had to have a heart op, MIL was, you suspected, pretending to be ill, and you'd just found out you were pregnant with DC2 (congratulations!).

Well you know how nosy us mumsnetters are!!! Please bring us up to date - what happened next?

...hoping this story has a happy ending.....

I lurked on that thread - can I join the camp-out. Has anybody started a sing-song yet? SHall I start (to the tune of We Shall Overcome):

Hi sunny thanks for hot chocolate .yummy. Hello ladies I have ordered extra logs to go on fire . Just had an awful thought what if THUM has gone on holiday to find herself she might not clock on for a while . but hey we are doing alright . has anyone made a plackard to wave . Sunny hope you get your happy pills (well thats what I call mine )

I think this thread's gonna be as long as THUM's original one before we get any news!

She must be nearly 6 months pregnant by now so should be on the sofa with tea and cakes, on Mumsnet, surely?!!

That's ok, solo - I'll save them to eat later - as a reward when I've done the ironing. In fact, I might set up the ironing board in the corner there, and get on with it a bit later on, if overweightnotoverdrawn doesn't mind me running an extension lead out from the kitchen........

But first, I have to don my protective clothing, and go and tidy ds3's bedroom. My best friend is coming to stay tomorrow, and I must decontaminate in there before she arrives!!

Has THUM answered yet? I watched this thread and I even showed it to DH, we were both on edge of our seats. I am assuming that THUM changed her name for the purposes of her THUM thread though.

I'm making a lamb curry tonight if anyone wants some? Slow cooked till it melts in the mouth - drool! Popadoms and mango chutney to start with a large fresh G&T to wash it down.
