You kept the whole Mumsnet community on the edge of our seats back in November with the story of your toxic MIL forcing your DH to keep a family christening secret from you.

When the thread finished your DH had confronted his mum, you'd gone to the christening anyway, and MIL had ignored your dd. Then your dad had to have a heart op, MIL was, you suspected, pretending to be ill, and you'd just found out you were pregnant with DC2 (congratulations!).

Well you know how nosy us mumsnetters are!!! Please bring us up to date - what happened next?

Hmm - difficult question. I do happen to have a bottle of baileys that's been lurking at the back of the cupboard since Christmas - how about a hot chocolate in one hand and a baileys in the other?

Does hot chocolate count as chocolate? Because I've promised ds2 not to have any sweets or chocolate monday-friday - to help me and to help him, iyswim. So is chocolate still chocolate if I'm drinking it?

no it dosnt count at all its a drink . Thats like saying straberry milkshake is strawberries and we all know it isnt . So feel free to drink it but we will wash cup up so they dont see the cup in the morning and get confused about drinking and eating .

Actually I'm going to be strong-minded, so no hot chocolate for me, thank-you. I'm going to take myself away from all this temptation, and snuggle up in a corner to go to sleep.

Has anyone heard from the woman who's husband had been fleecing her for money, refused to move house so their children could get into a better secondary school but who's husband had secretly hatched a plan with his ex to send only his child to a private school???
