I just got "what have you done?"!!!

OP posts:
robino · 18/11/2008 16:32

Well, it took 4 hours but "Love you and our monkeys loads xx". Thankfully, he's referring to our two non-sleeping daughters rather than actual primates!

Poledra · 18/11/2008 16:56

"He thinks it's romantic to grind his groin into my bottom while I put something in the oven"

Sheik, from the very first thread I ever posted on, I believe the proper MN term for that is 'Jack-Russelling', an activity my DH also believes to be incredibly romantic.

thenewme · 18/11/2008 17:02

I haven't heard from my DH at all today. I don't even know if he got to work okay. I just want him home now but I don't want him to ring as I am dreading what he might say.

NorkyButNice · 18/11/2008 17:15

By phone 5 hours later.

Me : "Did you not get my text"
DH : "The one about toilet paper?"
Me : "No"
[pregnant pause]
DH : "Oh, the one saying you love me?"
ME : "Yes, that one"
DH : "Oh, was I supposed to reply?"

Am very at you lot with your porno/romantic replies!

BitOfFun · 18/11/2008 17:25

Hi Norky! Poledra- I read all about jack russelling in the how does your dh/dp initiate lovemaking style thread in MN classics, and I cried laughing! So sorry it was before my time, I could have empathized with many a reply, LOL...seriously everyone, do check it out if you are in need of a smile

eandh · 18/11/2008 17:38

DH not allowed his phone at work but text it anyway, he's been home 2 hours and just noticed it but did grope my bum on the way past the bathroom whilst I was bathing the dd's (he thinks he'll be getting lucky tonight but I'm going out !!)

Kally · 18/11/2008 17:56

I text him that already this morning when I woke up. I sent it ages ago and he's just picked up msg. He's not well (got a cold) and at work...

Ha ha ha... he said he loves me too and needs some belly to belly to clear his nose. but I won't see him til the weekend.

Bellchops · 18/11/2008 17:57

I got 'ditto'. He is forgiven as he's working late tonight and in very bad mood. Usually get a bit more then that. Bless.

poppy34 · 18/11/2008 17:58

rofl re jack russelling.. doubt I'd be a good candidate for that.. I've got baby sick on my fleece and my glasses are covered in sweet potato puree spray - I suppose I should clean up really but mn so much better

TinkerBellesMum · 18/11/2008 17:58

I'm marking my place on this thread so I know how long it takes to answer and I don't forget to come back...

Chopchopmissy · 18/11/2008 18:01

"you are unbelieveably gorgeous and the best wife in the whole wide world. Thank you for being with me and fo all that you do for me. I love you more than words can say"

Whoops I have his phone!

stuffitllama · 18/11/2008 18:02

"Why? Why are you telling me that?"

but i did just call it through to the next room instead of texting so maybe it doesn't count

Wallaroo · 18/11/2008 18:03

I know and I love your bottom

HRHSaintMamazon · 18/11/2008 18:04

i just got a text saying
"have i told you your beautifull today"

i am soo texting him this again tomorrow

downbutnotout · 18/11/2008 18:05

dh finally replied "love u 2 honey" but I had to prompt him to look at his phone, so as far as spontaneous outpourings of afffection go, it wasn't overwhelming. But still counting my blessings he actually replied.

muckypups · 18/11/2008 18:08

I dunno you send your Dh a text declaring your love and they take it as a pass to go to the pub after work. Well mine did anyway!!!

JustKeepSwimming · 18/11/2008 18:27

'Not as much as i love you xxxxxxxx to infinity and beyond.'

ingles2 · 18/11/2008 18:29

so I eventually get a reponse.
"why? what have I done?

hedgehog1979 · 18/11/2008 18:50

DH has just got home (been out with DS all afternoon) I texted him when I found this thread about 3ish, His snotty response

' you know I can't make outgoing calls/texts why did you waste your money on me'

I have 200 free texts every month which I use about 1/4 of so not really a waste

AnneOfAvonlea · 18/11/2008 20:06

" And I love you even more, my darling. Boy i'm hungry! "

He's working late and cant have eaten yet.

singyswife · 18/11/2008 20:10

My dh's answer always always is ' and so you should, I'm the best thing that ever happened to you' followed by groped breasts. How romantic!!!!!!!!!

i used to text dh every day with a little message of love (nothing rude though!), he told me to stop doing it as he couldn't be bothered to reply

swingsofglory · 18/11/2008 20:34

I got 'Soppy. Do some work!'

Best not tell him i'm on MN while he's cooking then...

Scifinerd · 18/11/2008 20:38

I got "Are you feeling alright, can I take your temperature?" He also said for a fleeting moment he thought his luck might be in tonight.
