I just got "what have you done?"!!!

Well, it took 4 hours but "Love you and our monkeys loads xx". Thankfully, he's referring to our two non-sleeping daughters rather than actual primates!

Sheik, from the very first thread I ever posted on, I believe the proper MN term for that is 'Jack-Russelling', an activity my DH also believes to be incredibly romantic.

I haven't heard from my DH at all today. I don't even know if he got to work okay. I just want him home now but I don't want him to ring as I am dreading what he might say.

By phone 5 hours later.

Me : "Did you not get my text"
DH : "The one about toilet paper?"
Me : "No"
[pregnant pause]
DH : "Oh, the one saying you love me?"
ME : "Yes, that one"
DH : "Oh, was I supposed to reply?"

Am very at you lot with your porno/romantic replies!

Hi Norky! Poledra- I read all about jack russelling in the how does your dh/dp initiate lovemaking style thread in MN classics, and I cried laughing! So sorry it was before my time, I could have empathized with many a reply, LOL...seriously everyone, do check it out if you are in need of a smile

DH not allowed his phone at work but text it anyway, he's been home 2 hours and just noticed it but did grope my bum on the way past the bathroom whilst I was bathing the dd's (he thinks he'll be getting lucky tonight but I'm going out !!)

I text him that already this morning when I woke up. I sent it ages ago and he's just picked up msg. He's not well (got a cold) and at work...

Ha ha ha... he said he loves me too and needs some belly to belly to clear his nose. but I won't see him til the weekend.

I got 'ditto'. He is forgiven as he's working late tonight and in very bad mood. Usually get a bit more then that. Bless.

rofl re jack russelling.. doubt I'd be a good candidate for that.. I've got baby sick on my fleece and my glasses are covered in sweet potato puree spray - I suppose I should clean up really but mn so much better

dh finally replied "love u 2 honey" but I had to prompt him to look at his phone, so as far as spontaneous outpourings of afffection go, it wasn't overwhelming. But still counting my blessings he actually replied.

I dunno you send your Dh a text declaring your love and they take it as a pass to go to the pub after work. Well mine did anyway!!!

DH has just got home (been out with DS all afternoon) I texted him when I found this thread about 3ish, His snotty response

i used to text dh every day with a little message of love (nothing rude though!), he told me to stop doing it as he couldn't be bothered to reply

Best not tell him i'm on MN while he's cooking then...

I got "Are you feeling alright, can I take your temperature?" He also said for a fleeting moment he thought his luck might be in tonight.
