I just got "what have you done?"!!!

i got "love you too. must be the hair?" he is shaved bald but hasn't managed to shave the last few days so a bit of bristle around the sides which he knows I hate

(we never send texts like these - he was all jolly when I got home so maybe should more often. I did joke him it was meant for someone else and had he got the one I intended to send him about the groceries...)

I wrote him a note and put it in his snap box telling him I love him and that he means the world to me. He has texted me today but hasnt mentioned it

Didn't get a reply all day yesterday and when he came home last night I told him I had texted him. Said he didn't get it. Turns out he did but hadn't opened it as he thought it was a missed call. So he looked at it here and said 'what brought that on?' and 'what did you buy?'. LOL! I did explain why I did it and he just raised his eyebrows.

Oh - and coincidentally i did buy a new coat yesterday!

I got "You too! xxx" in response.

I read this with interest yesterday as I had already sent I love you not an hour before reading this and got in reply " Shitter day then yesterday!"

I then told him about his thread and how funny it had been and that it was just as well that wasnt the reason for my text or his un requented love would of been noted, to which he didnt answer me! lol

Sent mine 10 mins ago and no response.

"I love you too. You're lovely.xxx" - made my day!

I got: 'I love you more than cheese , what did you break/crash???

"I love you too xxx" Aah - he's well trained!!

I have just spent far too much monyey on a pair of shoes, so he would probably think I was trying to get round him!

i didnt get a replie but he did ring just to hear my voice.....(so he said!) i told him it was a test on mumsnet and that he had FAILED! and he said dont fail me just yet let me make it up to you when i get home!

I sent mine this afternoon as I thought it would be nice as DH is working away from home this week. 5 hrs later still no reply

I did it last night and he text back "I love you moon and back too don't you know!"

Great idea and great responses. We text lovey dovey stuff quite often, but it is easy to forget you can never do it too much! Just done it and got an almost instant reply of "Ditto my lovely!! Xxx".
