I just got "what have you done?"!!!

DH just rang me (to my work, from his) to say "I just wanted to ask why and what I've done?" ....

...was in middle of conf call so hung up on him fast. Hang on - phone just beeped...

...

dh to say "I love you too" followed by about 10 smiley faces.

Hurrah!!

I got called a sap. But also got a 'love you too'.

Some of these remind me of when DH and I were first married and we had a cat but no cat door. We used to leave little notes to eachother saying "Cat is in/out. Love you x" The point of the note was the bit about the cat but we always put the 'love you' bit to make it seem less boring, I guess

We do this to each other all the time so it would be nothing out of the ordinary for my DH to receive this [smug look]

I got " Love you " back - much needed, as we are having a bit of a low time right now.

just sent mine, but he will be rather bemused - he works about 50ft away from me in another office and we talk on MSN all day....

Slight hijack but

I sent one recently saying 'I heart you ' (I know it's a bit naff ok) in amongst other text (because i felt it was too much to say I love you in the particular circs but still wanted to let them know how I feel).

And they had stopped short of saying it by saying something else which I took to mean they felt alot for me but maybe not love.

Do you think they would have realised what I really meant??

My dh is 3500 miles away and I got an 'I love you' back within 4 minutes. Modern technology eh?

DP just phoned to see what time to pick up ds from panto rehersals.....i said 'i text you earlier'..he said 'i didn't get it..what did it say?'..i said 'i love u'..he said 'oh yeah yeah i got it'....there was silence....me: 'ds finishes at 4.30'....

he text 2 seconds after phonecall with 'love u'...

forgetful?..nah probably scared shitless

I'd love to know what dh's response would be if I sent one asking "what time can I jump on?"
But I might send "i love you" instead

(DH is working in Trinidad and is very busy working out there.)

I would get either 'what have you done'? 'what u after'? or 'can we have nookie later then'?
