If I sent such a text to DH he would probably panic thinking labour had started and the hormones were making me all weird.

I can't do that to him .

I sent an I love you text recently, and got a reply from my mum saying "I love you too, but are you sure that affectionate message was meant for me?" - I was very relieved that DP is more given to the dirty texts than I am!

LOL, my dh rang home yesterday and greeted with 'Hello Sweetheart' - shame it was my mum that answered (looking after dd)!!

Awaiting my response from dh...

Pinkjenny · 18/11/2008 11:52

Unfortunately I ruined the 'I love you' text by following it up with another one saying, 'There's 20% off, now please can I get that coat?'

Dh is trying to keep me on a tight leash at the moment, due to wild and frivolous spending!!

He said yes, btw.

OK this is weird. Was about to e-mail my DH as instructed only to discover an e-mail he has already sent to me wishing me a good day, directing me to the cash supply and declaring his love.

Darling, have you discovered Mumsnet?

I am all of a flutter Thank you, Teenspirit, we are having a bit of a bad time at the moment so that really made my day. Off to iron his shirts as an expression of my love
